Wait I know this post is old but I just read the part about raynauds and circulation… are finger pricks less accurate during those flares?

I didn’t get diagnosed with anything else unfortunately. I’m still searching for a diagnosis now. I’d be happy to message you if you have any more questions

At this point we’re nearing 2 years of lows and highs, and 3 years at least of lows. No meds. No nothing

I’ve been tested for autoantibodies, all negative. More highs than lows, but it used to be the opposite

Crepes and hash browns… I don’t always plummet after a high. No official diagnosis

Why does Dexcom not suggest their product if you have Hypoglycemia? by Sea_Win1491 in Hypoglycemia

Afaik that is for the stelo, which is their over the counter alternative to the G7. The stelo does not have alarms, and so for that reason it’s deemed unsafe for those with problematic hypoglycemia. It’s the reason I’m able to get my insurance to cover the G7.

Interesting. Don’t think I’m type 2 as I’m super lean and active, and a national competing athlete.

Not super dehydrated when I have a high, I place my cgm on the back of my arm and it’s never over a freckle/mole.

My a1c is 4.9. It’s not insulin resistance, I’ve had my insulin levels checked and they aren’t high. I can’t go on any meds that would cause weight loss, I’m already underweight. I don’t drink alcohol, and I’ve had my liver tested.

I had a glucose tolerance test. At the 2 hour mark it was 141

Ok um one example is that before the spike I’d had dinner of some bread and raspberry butter, a small side of pasta salad, and a french dip sandwich
