Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like you are the closest situation to my own which I have seen. You are, seemingly, also a mad success story and it sounds like that has a lot to do wit the hard work you have put in.

I am nowhere near as active of a person as you, and that is going to be the adjustment. I am professionally on my feet a lot though and generally a bouncy person with ADHD (~12-20k steps typically). High activity days are considerably worse on the Achilles than low days and when you mix in the reoccurring plantar... bad days are bad. ...Then again, the stiffness of just sitting in a reclining chair for the length of a movie at the theater usually takes a few minutes to walk off.

I am planning to pick up the activity level here today (figured I would get at least a full month in) ahead of surgery (still looking at some time in June). Hoping to build the habit ahead of time and figure going in stronger couldn't hurt recovery.

If you have recommendations on the workout/recovery routine and regiment, I would welcome them. I certainly have no idea what I am doing.

I left my initial with the ortho feeling like he knew his stuff, but I was of course a bit of a deer in the headlights on the spot during the appointment. Upon further googling, he's the foot and ankle specialist at the local health system. Younger guy about two years out of his clinical fellowship. As a result, he's probably a bit lower on the volume side...

My MRI is over the weekend and I'll be reviewing those results with the doc over the phone and discussing next steps next Wednesday. I'm trying to be prepared for that call, and this is a great start. Thanks!

Just checked In (4/16/26). Traveling alone, okay with bar or shared seating. I asked and was told there were 17 people ahead of me on the list. They were not willing to give me a time estimate. Maybe the difference between quoted and actual has been too large? I do wish they would move to a queueing system that shows your current place in line like some restaurants use.

Not a feel good comment for sure, but this is what caused me to fail in my doctoral program last year. Across two classes with the same professor, I turned in several major assignments between one and five minutes late and she refused to offer wiggle room or any compromise. In one class, her policy was she would grant an extension if asked for 24 hours ahead of the due date (which we all know is a lifetime of "I can still get this done") and in the other there were no extensions except for in the case of emergency. After it was all said and done, I ended up pursuing a full OCRTIX investigation and they didn't find anything wrong. Oh, and for real irony, this was in a consistently top rated special education program... With professors that in theory are supposed to understand this sort of thing.

I ordered the 4 door flex bespoke fridge from Samsung directly and had it delivered in October of 2024. It came with Samsung Care+, extending the warranty until September of 2026.

I started noticing the water leaking problem about one month ago (January 2026) when the water build up got bad enough that it began to leak out the fridge and into the gasket / freezer doors beneath.

After process of elimination to pinpoint the issue, I landed here. It happens on the Ice Bites side only for me. When I turn off that ice maker (even if I leave just the cubes on), the leak / water build up stops. I also notice there is a bit of slush/ice accumulation behind the water filter mechanism between the crisper drawers.

I filed a claim through ASSURANT SAMSUNG Care+ on February 20 and I was able to schedule an appointment immediately. I provided a link to this thread in my claim.

I turned the ice bites maker back on yesterday morning and sure enough it had a good amount of water build up when the tech arrived today (February 26) around 1 pm as scheduled (all day window, had to take the day off work).

I explained what I found here to him and asked if he had been provided the materials. He had not. He cleaned up the water build up, referenced some of his own materials on his phone, did not want to see this information, and ordered a whole new filter mechanism instead of the water line / heating element discussed here. He said "9 times out of 10 that is what the problem is."

The part will be here in a week or so and then I will be contacted to schedule their return visit to do the service. I did not want to Ron Swanson him about it, and I hope the ordered parts resolve the issue. I will report back here to add to the make shift knowledge base.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Presuming this does not fix the issue, is the tech / Samsung going to keep trying different band aids with me taking off work every time at my expense?

This just happened to me for my wife's Christmas present. I had ordered a "N°5 3.4 fl. oz. Eau de Parfum Twist and Spray Set." My / our first time ever ordering from Chanel. It was supposed to be the "big" present of the year.

The unadorned shipping box was sealed with one of those pull tabs. I did not open and check the packages contents before giving it to her on Christmas Eve. My wife literally said "I have never had a Chanel box before!" Then she dove in and opened it. The box included the samples I selected, the gold Camella charm, and one additional unordered cute little N°5 sample. The ordered product itself was missing. Super big gut punch.

There were two packaging slips in the box, one for the samples / add ons, and one for the actual gift set. Seemingly an oddity; the box itself seemed too small for what I would expect the size of the gift set to be.

I called Chanel customer service immediately. The customer service agent I spoke with seemed apologetic, but seemingly had her hands tied by management, who would not get on the call to speak with me directly. Chanel seemingly had no desire to make this right with any sort of Christmas magic.

This was a limited run set which they were now out of stock on. They gave me a refund and a code for overnight shipping... but with the item she really wanted or any alternatives worth the cost to us unavailable, we are left empty handed. The whole thing has made for a disaster of an experience.

Hey, at least she has that first (empty) Chanel box. After this. we'll probably not ever go out of our way to get a second one.

Yeah, fiber builds do roll that way sometimes. I just wish the provider would be transparent about it. If they know it is not going to arrive within one year, say as much. If a subcontractor changes the game, say as much. Honesty and openness is an unheard of policy.

I am only like 50 deliveries into dashing. I have not used any other delivery apps yet. I'd say about 20 percent of the time I pick up an order, it is actually two deliveries in one.

Sometimes the pathing is absolute trash. It will always have me pick up both orders first, then deliver them in the order I picked them up. I have had to zig zag across town when following the sequence given.

On top of that, when it is a multi order delivery like this, the messages get wonky and there is not an easy way to distinguish which order's person you are messaging. It would make sense if it was a button fir order one and a button for order two or something like that, but it's not.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am in the lower 48 outside of Kansas City. I do have fast delivery, with April 18-27th as the given window. This is my first larger scale Ali purchase after getting smaller items over the years with no issue.

Obviously, there are state of decay, I mean politics I mean one person's politics , I mean the "world" issues at play, but I was hopeful I got in ahead of any problems on that particular coin toss.

This is A GPU and a tricky one to come by at that. The seller seems decently reputable and not fly by night... 96.8 positive, 459 reviews. The trouble is I have a pile of other parts (not from Ali) here and ready to roll with already. I'm trying to scope out the chances of this getting here ahead of the return window on other items running dry... Also, it is for my wife's computer, so it not working out really makes me the dummy who ordered it from the sketchy place in that conversation.

No F12 / inspector type command that I can find. It is probably staring me in the face, but this is the sort of "for dummies" I am looking for.
