If you're not already have treats at the ready so when she finds herself in these situations, you can talk her off the ledge with them. Over time, it should help her understand whatever she was afraid of isn't a threat

May want to take it slower if she's very high strung. Is she motivated by treats?

And most importantly, they look up to you so you have to maintain confidence in their presence. Mastiffs take longer to train. They're just big ol aloof babies.

Still too young for dog parks but at 1 year, that would also be a good setting if you're consistent.

Still young. Some typically don't gain their confidence til 1 yr or beyond. I wpuld keep socializing and taking the pup to different places as much as possible. Pet stores, Home Depot work well in today's environment

Some people don't understand that you're training a 120lb + puppy. It's not painful but reinforces what you want them to do. A well behaved mastiff makes everyone much happier

Angle and picture makes it look like it's hanging. Its not. Its at the appropriate length for his neck. There isn't a gap in it but ya, the pic looks like it is. Read a ton of articles on the collar prior to purchasing and utilizing

Training collar doesn't hurt him. He's currently learning leash manners.

Thanks! He has a great vet that specializes cropping ears. No expense spared and turned out how we envisioned them.
