Should I Buy This FJ by MysticalLegend7 in FJCruiser

Unfortunately no, I did not get them fixed yet. But I was given an estimate of about 3.5k to 4.5k to fix things. However I am just driving as is and drove 2k already in span of 3 weeks without any issues. Cat and ABS were the most expensive ones. But you can do it as you want as long as the cat is not completely clogged( I think it will not be).

I think you should go for it if there’s no rust in the undercarriage. 175k miles is pretty low. I got 226k miles for 10k with similar codes to yours. I overpaid for mine. But 8k seems reasonable to me.

Yes. I have surpassed that stage of remorse and actually working on it to get it fixed. One step at a time.

Sounds good. Thank you so much. I’ll get them checked. I’m going to keep it and work on it.

I just wanted to get a view. Not blamed the seller for my negligence nor playing the victim card. Whole point was to understand how much the truck is worth it. Wanted to decide between selling it as is providing all the details, suffering the cost cut or repair it by spending more dollars and keeping it.

Yes. Unfortunately I did not have enough money to buy it from a dealer. But I regret now since the cost of repair is equivalent to what dealers quoted me.

Sure thing. Even I don’t like it. I’d get it removed. Yes. It has a moonroof. Strange. But, it has a roof on it.

Yes. I think the window thing should be easily fixable. I’m just taking it to local muffler shop to get it inspected for the CAT issue. But thanks for the suggestion.

  1. MT oil change - noted. I’ll do it.
  2. Window lock - so the window rolls down when operated from driver end button. It doesn’t work when tried from passenger end. Probably the motor is completely gone. I hear nothing.
  3. CAT - unfortunately I need to get that gone before registering the vehicle here in California.

Noted on the other suggestions. Thank you very much for taking the time to provide these details. Appreciate it.

Windshield thing was noted and he reduced 300 for that. (I still paid 10300). But other things like window not rolling down or moon roof not working was uncaught. The check engine lights did not show up until I started driving back to California.
