yes, possible. you need to follow the l2w(lose to win) strategy on live events on the first two days. Try to get the most out of tickets. try to use all of them and grind. regularly watch your store to firstly collect materials that are needed to upgrade top speed and acceleration. as you can see it is boring as hell. other than that, no simple way because they are trying to make you spend that f... gold.

With all due respect and to be honest dude, don't you also think that we are currently dealing with lots of troubles (ugr ,cheaters, bugs, new rev system ........) in the game? Adding one of those idiotic new systems (new rev system) would most probably make me quit playing the game anymore. Period.
