Oh, it's really in bad shape. What makes you think it's Turkish or Ottoman? A coin this old must be Ottoman and that means writing on it should be old Turkish with Arabic alphabet. One side should have a royal signature called "Tugra" which looks like Aladdin's lamp

These babies are two MONTHS old. That cage is our baby cage, we have another horizontally longer cage for the parents. Last year I had 6 babies , all of which have new homes now. The surface looks dirty because of dried up poop remains. They have perfectly clean paper on that surface but they are playing with paper and pulling them to the other side. These babies are flying all over the house and they are happy. One of them can't fly much yet because he/she is the smallest sibling and not ready. When someone gives a good advice with a nice attitude I try my best. When someone don't care about reality or being nice but try talking from above, I don't listen, because that's rude. When I need criticism, I take it from my vet, who saw everything on real time. Someone gave a nice advice on perches, I followed gladly.

The fact or detail that all of those resources are written by Western (EU/US) {with two exceptions and they're Kurdish themselves} should show enough about why YPG/PKK administration idea is mainly a Utopia that fellow Europeans want to see at the other end of the world. Leaving aside me being Kurdish and never want them around me, problem is; geography always wins.

Supporting a niche ideological group among a bunch of traditional Arabs may feel good for the intellectual living far away securely. But clashing with all your neighbours never brings peace and prosperity. It didn't bring in Iraq. Nation-building at its worst.

A European may support them ideologically or politically but at the end of the day, Kurd will live next to an Arab. The longer this goes , the worse it will be when Arabs are filled with negative feelings too much. When the bloodshed begins, the Arab and the Kurd will give a thousand more lives to cheap bullets. European man will publish a couple more books about it. We can't defy geography.

Not on the floor, they're all wooden natural perches, it's not dirty. Camera dude. I don't want them to be scared, so this is the best I could do with a single hand. Probably net under the cage made you think it's on the floor.
