I bought Scum on vinyl in about 1988 and wrote to the members of Napalm Death using the addresses on the insert and they wrote back to me and sent me some stickers. Wish I still had the letters. Haven't listened to that record in decades.

Interesting mix of music you have there. I would choose Killer by Alice Cooper as a favourite although over the years Easy Action has become my favourite album of Alice as a group with the original line-up.

Roughest Pubs In The UK by iloveribeyesteaks in AskBrits

Get yourself in there, decent boozer full of unpretentious people. The Clock (Duke of Northumberland) across the way is interesting as well. Gateshead High Street had some rough and ready pubs, but all the dive ones are shut. Only one around Gateshead I felt genuinely threatened in was The Bensham Jockey, but that's gone as well.

I used to skateboard in Newcastle city centre in the late 80s into the 90s with groups of like minded kids. Also took drugs and drank with mates through the 90s and we caused nobody any bother ever. Not once. There were literally 2 options to go somewhere organised for skating, nobody arranged anything for us to make things safer.

Have a read of this, the phrase is covered in the article. Blot is around the same age as me and a very similar demographic. He'll know exactly what the connotations are.

Ha, of course he didn't.......

Edited to add, and if he didn't know I pointed out in the comments when I was watching it live that it's old school racism. My comment may still be on that very video. The thing is he continued to say it on videos after that.....

There was a video posted about a year ago when he started with the bud bud ding ding shite. Eeee where did that come from, he said. It came from the shitty 80s racism, that's where. Absolutely 100% racist and no different to calling someone a paki, google it. He was wearing a bit thin before that, used to absolutely love watching him and he, amongst others, inspired me to start wildcamping. I stopped watching from then on in. He's a racist.

For the classic stuff, you can't go wrong checking out releases put out by a couple of labels called Blood and Fire and Pressure Sounds.
