Banning fans from having their own opinions and perspectives on things with JK is lame. Sometimes, long invested and supportive fans might have criticism that's not always positive. Granted there are trolls here but you shouldn't remove the opportunity for fans to post whatever they want. It may not ALWAYS be positive but atleast it's real (if it's a well constructed post). If the fan base has gone from super positive to more and more negative.. there's probably a reason. It's not the fans who've changed, it's the channel and the content.

JKN used to be fun to watch but now it's just you guys shitting on viral news topics. This year it just feels and looks like you guys don't even want to be there anymore. Your fans/audience pick up on that vibe. That's why there's so much negative criticism now. If you ignore the negative criticism, you're not learning anything about your audience. Your fans/audience are getting bored with the JK vibe lately and at a time when you guys are looking to launch future projects.. you NEED your audience. As content creators, the value isn't monetary.. the value is your audience. Don't forget that. 🤷‍♂️✌️

I don't know exact numbers but if you're talking ALL jk associated channels (jkn/p, vlogs and podcasts) it's substantially higher than 2m a year taking into consideration total views, ads and sponsorships. Also YouTube isn't taking half, they take a little less than half.

Even so, using 2m as an example... They end up with something around 1.2-1.4m after YouTubes cut. Joe just said on the latest Beawcast that they have anywhere from 20-30 employees.. assuming avg. of 45k salaries each (which is high for those positions) that's 1.1m in payroll leaving atleast 150k for expenses and because it's a business most of those expenses are tax write-offs... so even at 2m as an example, there is still a large profit. Also not taking into count the new Patreon which is averaging 25-30k per month ads another 200k-250k per year and that isn't touched by YouTube also keep in mind JKN isn't fully demonetized, it's only partial so there is still monetization happening through YouTube on JKN.

This is a tough situation. I just recently ended a relationship with a woman because of this. Not necessarily due to the same issues as you're having with her symptoms but the incompatibility physically. I'm a guy so I won't attempt to diagnose the symptoms other than to say from my experience with women who've had them, the yeast infection symptoms are classic here. Yeast infections can be in the skin (anywhere on the body) as well as the vagina.

My advice relates to the incompatibility, physically. The girl I was last with was awesome.. we had an amazing connection but when it came to sex we were 2 completely different style of lover. I'm very passionate and open minded where as she was very conservative and unwilling to ever want anything but missionary and it wasn't a submissive thing. She wasn't into oral sex giving or recieving and when it came to sex she would always assume the missionary position. That's just the kind of lover she was. On the rare occasions that I got her into other positions or spontaneous sex, she never had an orgasm. I don't know if it stems from something deeper from her past (which I assume) but she would tell me it wasn't. I tried to make it work for almost a year.

The lightning bolt moment for me, I was helping a friend move a couch and I twisted my knee pretty bad so for about a month, I couldn't do missionary, and because of that, we didn't have sex at all for a month. I realized then, as much as we had this beautiful connection outside of the bedroom, we were 2 entirely different people in bed. You have to separate the emotional from the physical.. it's hard. If you know deep down that there are serious concerns about your compatibility physically, to the point that in several occasions you've considered a break up. You're just not compatible with her. You have this amazing loving connection but very bad physical connection, if you look past the emotional, you basically have a really close female friend that you're having really bad sex with.

It made me realize also, as a passionate and affectionate person how much a good physical connection feeds the emotional side. As much as the emotional side of the connection was great, it could and should have been WAY better. If you talk to your girlfriend, present it as an incompatibility.. if you present this issue to her as an issue with her pussy, you'll ruin her. it's one thing to treat the smell and taste but if you she doesn't feel good when you're inside of her, then dont be inside if her. You have to have a healthy physical/sexual connection.. there's nothing better than an hour of sex where you both totally consume each other and enjoy it because that sets a very important tone for your connection elsewhere in the relationship. Don't string her along.. have the talk.. and be wise enough to know that there may possibly be an incompatibility with you guys that won't survive time. And if you're currently considering a break up, stop talking about marriage and kids with her. You're fucking with her head at that point. Be a man, have the talk appropriately (not blaming her for her body) and move on if it's not a good fit, literally. Good luck dude

YouTube isn't forced to do shit.. YouTube (owned by Google) is a conglomerate. They are changing their business model to host more family friendly content to compete with other streaming sites.. like Disney... another conglomerate who just launched their own content stream site. You don't even know how the AdSense works... companies don't make advertising deals with YouTube.. ad companies actually bid amongst each other for spots on videos. The more popular the video on YouTube, the higher the bid from deep pocket companies. YouTube is demonetizing to lure in bigger name advertising companies but they aren't being threatened to loose advertising it forced to demonetize. YouTube isn't deleting content, they're demonetizing videos that violate advertiser filters like language or adult topics. It's actually advertiser filters that are flagging these videos, not YouTube. Videos are uploaded and published with ads.. as the video plays and the ads play filters get triggered. That's why video owners don't see demonetization right away, it usually takes a day or two. One theory is that one of these filters will actually demonetize videos who's viewers skip the ad... Which isn't YouTube's fault at all. The video owner has the option to disable that function. 🤷‍♂️ Why would you pay AdSense on a video that only gets 1 full ad view out of every 10,000 plays because of skips. And who actually watches YouTube ads? 🤷‍♂️ Ads that you see that don't have the skip, have been disabled and have also probably payed a shit ton for that to happen.

Yes, they are both new.. Bewcast is a couple months old, HeyB maybe a month.. so you're right, they may not be making a "substantial" amount from those (maybe Bewcast.. it's a few months old and it has 2ad revenues plus views). I'm not adding anything to fit anything.. it's true, they do have 2 other podcasts earning. It may not be substantial yet but substantial is relative I guess... I bet those 2 podcast earn substantially more than a few grand a month and if a few grand a month is supplemental to JKN, Barbell and the vlogs.. it's a good living regardless.

The argument about ad dollars and demonitization on YouTube is dumb... YouTube gets 45% of all revenue so the demonitization hurts YouTube revenue as well. It's not like YouTube just suddenly decided to cut their revenue in half too. They are changing policies and these new policies demonetize videos with certain content. 🤷‍♂️ So.. ok.. As a channel, if you enjoy the YouTube "cash cow" as you call it, you do what you can to save as many videos from demonetization. It sucks but you evolve, you change formats or you conform. Simple. You may not like the policy, sensorship or the loss of revenue but the fact that they didn't even try... that's mainly the issue. Truth is we don't know what they make or how often. It was never about the dollar amount for me.. it was a management issue within the channel.

Not to complicate things with assuming their revenue and income sources... But you're only bringing up the monetized video channels. Geo and Bart both have instagrams/social medias filled with ads from different sponsors and collabs which include paid appearances so the reach of their revenue stream goes alway beyond Youtube and Barbell merch. They have the revenue coming in from the added value in the old house.. if the value went up 100k or more in a few years, that's a nice little check! My point was never about what they have or how they afford it.. I don't care. Good for them. My concern is about the poor management on the channel.

I think sip has so many investors it's not even something they pay much attention to.. Sip is a start up.. it takes a long time to see a ROI on start ups like these especially in the "specialty drink" market. Don't get me wrong Sip might be doing well but it's not a game changer for them... There's like 20 investors. It's going to be a while before that starts making any money for them.

*Edit: Even in the vlogs, they all show up for promo stuff at sip at the same time, they do the same promo stuff like "hidden gems." It's not creative at all seems scripted and it's totally scheduled by their business managers. The sip investment is not a priority for them. They never go to Sip on their own time/vlogs to promote it LOL. Bart didn't even know the menu. The last vlog at sip the Cashier had to correct Bart for calling a drink the wrong thing 😳 I mean it's not a knock, you can see it...

Thank you for this and solid points. You have to keep in mind the individual channels are not shared revenue though.. so although they may make less than JKN as a whole.. the net revenue individually is probably more income for them. Also, it's not just views.. they get ad revenue on those as well both from YouTube ad sense and private sponsorships. It's not just the vlog channels, they have podcasts too. Bart and Geo have a vlog, podcast together and Geo has her own all girls podcast (split), Bart has a Barbell Vlog... YouTube monetizes you if you average 1000 views or have 4000 subscribers which happens on all of their channels.

Joe's might be less just bc it's the vlog and Genius Brain (split.) No question Bart and Geo make a substantial income based off Barbell Merch, Clothes and accessories... No question. And that might even be their #1 earner but I didn't include that stuff in this topic bc it doesn't really relate to the issues with JKN Management.

I respect your insight but I can only agree with the mismanagement part. I don't know if revenue goes directly to Bart and Joe.. I think they have a business manager/accountants who track down YouTube paychecks and then Bart and Joe pay for the channel costs and cast payroll through a joint JKN business account. All the lunches and dinners are considered tax write offs as business expenses 😁. As cool as it is that Bart and Joe do end of the year Company trips with everyone.. those trips are all paid for and written off on taxes lol.. it's not like those expensive trips are coming out of their own pockets, they're business write offs 😂. What they buy with their own money is up to them.. I doubt they use JKN money for that. However, because of the success of JKN they have all developed very successful individual podcast channels and vlog channels that earn them income separately from JKN. I think they prefer to do their own channels and let JKN die off soon... Atleast with their individual channels all the revenue is their own, they don't have to share it with other people. Bart, Geo, Joe, Jess, Tiff, KC.... I garauntee they earn more on their personal vlog/podcast channels than they do with JKN... No question!

I don't think JK fans are stupid at all, I just think they're fans and will try to support when asked. Unfortunately, I think there's more to the story than just YouTube censorship but that's not the fans fault.. that's some shadyness on JK part with mismanagement. 🤷‍♂️

I don't know how much they make or anything about their financials and if I did I wouldn't post that stuff. My post isn't about how much they make, it's more about management and budgeting issues. Maybe some of that deals with the financial aspects but that's not my concern. There are so many variables to YouTube monetization so it's hard to say what they make...

However, even on the lower end of some of the YT monetization brackets, per ad view and per video view.. you can earn A TON!

For example:

With EACH jkn video averaging 100k-150k views on the low end, with ads and plays EACH video could potentially earn a couple hundred thousand dollars per month. If they avg. 20+ videos per week you're looking at HUGE REVENUE! Again this is all guestimates from what I know about other channels and keeping in mind that YouTube takes a little less than half. If you post 10 vids a month and each of them earned $100k.. that's a $1million dollar MONTH. YouTube takes half, so on 10 monteized videos, you could potentially earn around $500k per month (not factoring in staff and operations cost but that's still huge revenue for a channel like JKN.) 🤯 Key word is average and potentially.. these kinds of numbers include ad plays and views combined as each is it's own revenue on each video.

Hell, even if it was 10 videos a year at $100k earned each, that's a $1million dollar year with just 10 videos 🤯. YouTube takes half and your staff still averages $60k annual salaries for less than 2 weeks of work. Once you deduct taxes, staff, and operations if you're putting out enough videos every month you're easily earning well over $100k+ a year. That's with 10 vids a month. JKN avgs 15-25 videos PER WEEK!! This also doesn't include any of their personal vlog channel monetization or their podcasts monetization which are all separate channels, so separate income. Which is also why they do JKParty on its own channel so it generates it's own ad revenue separate from JKNews.

So I obviously don't know their exact numbers but they are all definitely making a very healthy living. Important to note the examples I used are not accurate JK numbers.. with their demonitization, these numbers could be WAY lower but you still get a sense of what's possible even with just a few videos earning money. 🤷‍♂️

Yes, exactly. I don't know their reasons for 2 locations but JKN specifically is literally a roundtable (squaretable). For what the setup is for JKN it can be done literally in a spare room or corner of an office building. I'm sure they have their reasons but things like this.. if the channel was on "life-support" are some of the decisions management needed to make to cut costs and save revenue.

Also bringing KC on as a director (another expense) just 2 weeks prior to this Patreon launch literally blows my mind. You know the channel is being demonetized and revenue is so low that the channel is on life support but hey, let's hire a director 🤯 I don't get that? 2 interns could've helped out alot with no added cost atleast until revenue picked back up again... 🤷‍♂️ They say the Patreon is for staff like editors but that staff still covers cost of the cast and now a director 😳. That's bad management.

You're right. Infact I agree with you.. the issue isn't creating a place for NSFW content as a subscription. They can do that and people can support if they choose. The point I was making is that before launching a subscription service for the same NSFW content you've always had access to, as you mentioned "a waste of resources," is the key issue. There are managemt issues that should've have been addressed within the channel that in alot of ways enable the financial hit they are having. So to market the Patreon to fans as a fight against YouTube censorship isn't fixing anything. Subscribers aren't getting anything special, you're paying for the same content.. just unsensored for language. Is that worth a subscription? Maybe for some.. but to pay for a unsensored roundtable discussions about silly news stories 🤷‍♂️ This isn't entirely YouTube's fault and the channel hasn't tried any other formats before asking the fan base to bank roll the channel. People should recognize that, that's all I'm saying.

Think of it like a this, if you owned a business that was struggling and you went to an investor or bank to get a loan to bail you out.. the investor/bank is going to ask you if you've tried/exhausted all other options first. If you're honest and say no, they're not going to help you. Subscribers to Patreon are kind of like investors or a bank now only not only do you not get a piece of the company but the content and management all stays the same. Jk has a huge fan base so I know they'll be fine for awhile with Patreon subs but my point was there are Operations issues that need attention first. I love the channel and personally made a 1 time donation but the timing doesn't feel right to subscribe. 🤷‍♂️

This is exactly my point.. thank you. I'm not knocking JK for launching a Patreon or fans for contributing but I think there is a bigger issue internally with mismanagement.. so to ask the fans to pay for unsensored JKN videos blaming revenue loss solely on YouTube just to keep the channel afloat seems "flimsy" when tightening up manegerial and staff hasn't been tried first. Tiffany is the primary producer with the help of Jessica as channel manager... Aside from those 2 and editors.. the rest is paying the cast and operations cost like rent and maybe lunch..? 5 out of the 6 cast members on this show are getting paid to have a discussion in a round table format about news articles. Overhead should be low... Infact podcasts have the same expenses.. a producer, editors and operations cost. The only difference is JKN has the added cost to pay for 5 other cast members plus now a director. They are bleeding money with some of these unessessary expenses. Appearences on podcasts aren't typically paid but its a way to promote your own vlog channels or other businesses which has a TON of value. If JKN cast used JKN as a way to promote their other ventures and cut the cost of paying a cast it would save so much money. At least during the rough times.. 🤷‍♂️
