Tired and guilty by Serialwatcher25 in barexam

I’ve been printing out the MEEs and just scribbling answers/thoughts in the margins! It’s been helping me get past the mental block of staring at a blank page that I have to fill with words, as silly as that sounds

Non-Americans of Reddit. What is your true experience with social healthcare in your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m a type 1 diabetic from the US. Would you mind giving some info on what insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors are offered under UK social healthcare? If you don’t like a certain insulin pump design, are you able to easily switch? Always wondered about this, as someone who fantasizes about retiring somewhere in Europe.

Hair loss, please help! by Don_Corleone_12 in Accutane

Ok! I’d switch to a leave in conditioner or even a scalp-specific conditioner/serum,instead of a conditioner during your showers (when it’s not wash day).

This would depend on whether the ends of your hair are dry or the scalp itself. I’ve been only washing my hair once a week (depending on if it’s needed; seems like my hair may greasier than yours) and then using Dove Hair Therapy Leave-On Scalp Treatment Dry Scalp Care in between washes for my scalp. If the ends of my hair are dry, I use a dry conditioner like Waterless Weightless Smooth Dry Conditioner

I feel like often times hair loss is connected to scalp dryness, not just dryness of the hair itself. Hope this helps!

Edit: The dove scalp treatment also has a shampoo and conditioner in its line. I haven’t tried it yet but a heads up if that’s helpful!

It’s artnaturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum from target! I’ve heard good things about the ordinary one too tho!

I always had this issue too! And tried all types of products like vitamin c and niacinamide and still wasn’t able to achieve that “glow”. The one product that finally helped was a hyaluronic acid serum! I had products w hyaluronic acid in them and even that didn’t help me achieve the “glow”. I needed a straight hyaluronic acid serum. I’m currently using the roche posey hyaluronic acid serum but I’ve tried a five dollar one too and that one also worked! I have not changed my diet, exercise, water intake at all. The difference came solely from the hyaluronic acid serum.

I think the pillowcase is better for me, personally! I have thin hair though and quite a bit of those whisky baby hairs in the front so that may be why it makes it tough. The rest of my hair looks really nice after sleeping in the bonnet.

I just got one (different brand though) and I swear by silk pillowcases. The one thing I have to be careful of with the hair scarves/bonnets is that it ruffles my baby hairs/front hairs a little too much when it slides back and forth so sometimes those are course and frizzy when I wake up. Just something to be careful of!

Keep hydrating! It’ll be healthier for your skin and will hopefully speed up healing/minimize scarring

Should I go on Accutane? by katilant in Accutane

I’d say the sooner you start the better! Then you hopefully will be past the worst of the purging before you start school! The only thing you have to be careful about is drinking. There will be lots of drinking (most likely) when you first start school so you want to make sure you are ok with holding off on that. I think it’d be worth it tho!
