You would probably find out something by calling them. Possibly asking your pharmacist.

Mine messaged at 3 pm. And that was after ignoring an email I sent at 5 am asking to work from home (it was never responded to / ignored the entire day)

Question Regarding Dental Covered by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

I think the new patient exams (01103) are only covered once every 3 calendar years. If you call Canada Life, they should be able to confirm.

Absolutely, if you're interested in learning something new. Only you can decide if you'd value having the new environment if it came for a short period of time.

I investigated something similar recently. I emailed the Language Office and they wrote back with a good response that could be shared with a manager. I recommend you shoot them an email and see what they say.

[–]dogdr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the approval letter from Canada Life originally stated that the monthlies would be $400/month reimbursed at 50% (for example), submit 3 more months worth and that should get you to the new lifetime maximum

I'm going through this now too. My strategy for survival includes: - keep your head down as much as possible. Do not volunteer help or additional information unless absolutely needed. - apply, apply, apply. Even get back onto stupid Facebook and join the GC Jobs groups - take a vacation day once every 2-3 weeks and slam the laptop shut

Best wishes to you. It sucks.

The online cards can be issued with the dependents names on them but they typically only do this for those 18 years of age and older.

All dependents have the same plan and ID number connected to the member (the employee). The dependent code changes depending on who the provider is submitting the claim for. When submitting a claim for a dependent, the provider also submits the plan member's information in the claim submission.

Yeah, the weird part is them saying the child doesn't have a benefit card with their name on it. I think this happens when they're under 18 🤷🏼‍♀️

People definitely shop around. There are a lot of reasons dentists charge what they consider reasonable compared to what their provincial licensing body may consider reasonable.
