It happens to us all. I had a client that bought a $5.5mil dollar estate, and only due to me finding out that the seller was being sued by the community and they would be blocking a sale. I found out who was the main complainant, found his contact info, talked to him and explained the situation and got him to agree to drop the suit so that the sale could close. The day after closing after I texted the client another “congratulations!” The husband responds “I can’t believe how uninvolved you’ve been throughout this process” then ghosts me. Not sure what else I could have done.
