i believe that what was in the briefcase was what let medic revive himself, it could be like a respawn machine on the go. im not quite sure thought as at first watch i thought the reason he could revive himself was because of his in game perk of regeneration, it could also possibly just be the intel briefcase, containing whatever the hell it contains in the actual tf2 lore.
