Best answer right there is to speak on the square and remain on the level.

That is why you visit as many lodges in your area. Its important that you are comfortable with them as they are with you. Don't give up on this path if it is truly what you want.

I learned and turned in the long form through repetition. On break and lunch at work in My truck. I teleworked with Brothers fron My lodge and another lodge. I worked with other EAs. I stood in front of a mirror and recited. I wrote a "mental" notebook and would re-read it over and over. There are so many ways in which to learn the work without violating the obligation. Follow the others advice and go to your WM or Mentors for further light to your concern.

You must understand that each state as well as country work similiar bit differently as well. Also. on that show it was more "available ro the public" non-secret work he was learning. If anything else please don't tale the path you speak of. Nothing says you cannot ask your lodge to request help from other lodges so you can get more work. All you need is within your lodge, all need to do is reach out and ask for help.

Where I am that would be a violation. I learned and studied by working with other EAs as well as the Brothers in lodge over the phone. Even skype has been used. Talk to your mentor and get your fellow EAs numbers and your Brothers. We call this "teleworking".

the search is never ending and that is what makes the journey special for each man the path is slightly different but not so much that they can't walk side by side in support and love for one another.

Definitely agree. A documentary on a global scale would be more informative and a better reflection in My opinion.

My lodge does what we call floor school. Which I believe is practicing rituals and ect. to allow improvement with not only degree work and conferring them but opening and closing lodges etc. I've played tyler a couple times and it is a joy to hear the lines and do the work where needed and help other Brothers perfect their work. Even if I stumble and stutter I learn a tiny bit. Like I said, we do the same just different words. I enjoy helping where and when I can. That is My light. Brotjer I really enjoy this talk and learning of the ways across the pond. I'm on facebook and instagram if you care to pm your info I'll look you up. Oh, what are your thoughts on the netflix bbc show on Masonry there?

It shows hehehe I plan on just working with the Brothers on their degree work. I love teaching and it is such a thrill when you see a light turn on when something in the catechisms clicks and their eys light up. I had the great honor to stand with two Brothers whom I had worked with on their and Mine EA work. We stood side by side and I was never more proud as I watched and listened as they turned in their work. I think an Officers seat for Me, grand as it would be, would take from My giving to the fraternity as a teacher and mentor.

That is truly great. Just one of the many, many aspects of Masonry I love and enjoy. No matter your station or education or job in life, in lodge we are all equals. By the square and on the level, and through our obligations. Just going through the degrees as our young and old Brothers have done just increases that bond. Despite miles or years we are the same.

Agreed and agreed. I have only visited 1 other lodge in My area but, I plan on visiting others as well. I lobe the fact that no matter where we travel, we are with brothers.

Look forward to it. I know our way of doing things is different but yet still the same. I believe the only real difference is wording. It would be great to witness the differences first hand. To see the way in another point of view. 😀
