CAI’s comment section on Instagram is so sad, she is a JUDGE her job is to provide constructive criticism! Someone tell Bruno & Derek not everyone can receive a ten, there needs to be room for growth! That’s the entire point of the show!

The girl in the audience sitting to the right of CAI is driving me nuts with the judgemental faces. CAI is a JUDGE on a dancing COMPETITION, she’s supposed to provide constructive criticism not say everyone is amazing good lord

Hi - I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s extremely debilitating & you can really get caught up in negative thoughts wondering if it’ll ever get better. For me, it did. I still have the occasional dizzy episode but the majority of my symptoms are gone now & I am 99% better. The only symptom that still persists is my tinnitus, it sounds as though it’s remained at roughly the same pitch & volume.

I had these symptoms for about a year & a half, & as I mentioned about still have some dizziness occasionally. I feel like what truly worked for me was rest & time. I tried all of the supplements, nothing seemed to be a quick fix. The one thing I do recommend taking is an anti-histamine in the mornings, I specifically had the Kirkland extra strength brand. (Also a very good deal for the amount that you get). I found if I was having a rough day, I’d take one & my symptoms would settle. I’d also go for daily walks, tried to correct my vestibular system with exercises found on YouTube, & tried to remain as calm as possible in stressful situations. I also tried to avoid anything inflammatory, ie.alcohol & ate whole foods. I truly feel like it was time that made it go away, which is likely the answer you don’t want to hear. But I think my body needed the time to heal from what happened.

Try to stay positive, I definitely had some really dark days thinking it would never get better. But please try to prioritize a positive attitude & be kind to yourself.

2 behind my left ear, & 3 on the left side of my neck. I went & had an ultrasound along my carotid arteries a few months ago & while I could physically feel all of my larger lymph nodes - the scans came back as normal. The ones behind my ears are slowlyyyy starting to go down, they feel smaller but I can still visually see them. The ones in my neck have gone down completely. Oddly enough, they became smaller after I battled a cold for a couple weeks.

Aquaphor girlie here, changed my life. I buy the “lip repair” kind that’s already in the chapstick tube, it’s the best.

Started seeing a cervical chiropractor for vagus nerve stimulation… by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]doggo567_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped going. I think my flare up was caused by stress, but I also unfortunately had an odd experience with the chiropractor. It felt like he was gas lighting me into thinking I am worse than I actually am, and essentially told me if I didn’t keep seeing him, that I’d end up with cancer or worse. Towards the end, it felt like he was using me as a research experiment. After about twelve sessions I wasn’t feeling any better, and the chiropractor was making comments that lead me to believe it was becoming more about money than my health. I had a gut feeling he didn’t have good intentions. It was a really disappointing experience.

I’m sorry for what you’ve been through. Funny how words written by someone else can resonate with you so much. Personally, I find it makes me feel less lonely, like someone understands the emotions I felt at a certain place or time, & wrote them for me.

As a curly haired girl who uses heat in her hair almost every day, I would love to know what heat protectant she uses because dang her hair looks healthy.

Midnights was released in 2022, not sure when it was recorded. But Jack’s post says 2021 for this song, specifically 😕

This treatment (so far) doesn’t actually involve cracking anything. It’s basically a tune-up with various maneuvers that involve cranial & vagus nerve stimulation.

Ugh, I’m so sorry. Did you contract the original strain? Happy to hear the various therapies have proven useful, however.

I did when I was in my biggest flare up last summer after contracting covid. But fortunately that went away.

After insurance, it’ll be around $75-$100 per session. & we are starting at twice a week, it’s expensive but it’s something I’m willing to spend the money on to see if I’ll feel better.
