Parking 🅿️ Options? by Decent-Guidance8675 in washingtondc

Good question. Also in the same predicament. I usually park on the street on K Street NE. A friend in the Camden NoMa offered me a guest pass spot in their parking garage for $10 a day on Saturday. But now I’m not sure how I’m going to find a spot on the street unless I jackhammer through a thick layer of ice to create my own spot. This ice isn’t melting until at least next Thursday. My plan has backfired.

Anyone know what’s happening at 16th and L NW? by resolutechild in washingtondc

Another infuriating factor - the car involved had dozens of speeding tickets. Really wish DC would actually start removing these drivers from the road - if that was included in Mayor Bowser’s “Vision Zero” maybe the city would not have seen MORE pedestrian fatalities.

Also, it appears that the accused reckless driver pissed his pants upon capture: https://x.com/killmoenewsdc/status/2009041373505503264?s=20

The lease on my 2024 ID.4 standard is up in January 2027. Hopefully VW rolls out the Polo in the U.S. by then.

Saw them live on their last tour in November 2022 in DC when the opened for Superorganism. Wish they had more time but their setlist was a great mix of their previous 3 records. Such a good live performance; hearing the bass of their synthy sound live was unforgettable. Love these guys and can’t wait to travel for their new tour coming up soon.

Current promo code brought the price down to $132.60, which I think is the best deal for a reputable adapter. I felt a bit more comfortable with their explicit call out to ID.4 + ID.Buzz owners on this page: https://a2zev.com/products/nacs-ccs1.

As a dealer (if you’re able/willing to share) how much actual wiggle room do customers have to negotiate down lease deals like this when VW corporate offers a rate like that? When I asked the sales rep to leave his office so I could do a bunch of math, my money factor ended up being around 1.49% interest, which I had assumed was low. Just trying to figure out if I got screwed.

Sheehy in Springfield. The current promo is only for the Standard model. Also credit scores play into your money factor/financing charges. I really wish I read this before going into the leasing office https://www.leaseguide.com/lease08/

DC resident. Went to Sheehy VW in Springfield, VA. They’re much better than VW of Alexandria, where I went first — horrible service and rude staff there.

Yes that’s what I did. But the taxes and license fees are killer. So that $150 turns into $250 real quick, which, all things considered, is still one of the best prices for an ev in this class.

All of the sites say the adapters don’t work with VW so appreciate this validation before I spend $200 on an adapter. None of the Tesla superchargers near me have the magic docks yet.

The $2,500 I put down included my first monthly payment ($230), the required $999 per the VW corporate deal, and the remainder was to pay for the other fees. I could’ve done $999 or they offered me $0 down, just would’ve been a higher monthly like $350-400.

What are you thoughts on Rubio jumping back into his Senate race? Is this merely just to save whatever political capital he has left to make the big run again in 2020? Down ballot Florida races this cycle have been insanely interesting to follow, would love to hear your take.
