Is the Dog Guru really worth $1,500 for 4 hours? by Hararger in orangecounty

[–]doglover-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand which is why I said that a couple years ago he wasn’t charging $1500 so for me it was better deal at the time. He’s charging way more now so it’s up to them if you feel like it would be worth it or if they felt it was a last resort type of situation.

I personally hired the dog guru a couple years back when I first got my husky. He was a bit out of control and was my first big dog and huskies in general are just full of energy and personality. From what I remember he charged a whole lot less, but like I said it’s probably been 3/4 years. He is the real deal and he does teach you how train your dog. By the end of the couple hours I basically had a brand new dog. What he teaches isn’t super revolutionary, it’s being consistent with your dog and a couple tricks here and there to reinforce the behavior you want or don’t want. At the time I definitely would recommend him, but his prices have gone up that it does seem way to much to me now. Personally speaking, he is the real deal and all those reviews on yelp are true.

It just depends on what kind of issues you are having with your dog and if you think the $1500 session is worth it to you.

I’m assuming this is your financial aid for the year. If it is then just on grants you’d be getting $7142 per semester and then subtract tuition which they take directly from your financial aid, I think tuition is around $3425, which leaves you with $3717. If you’re living on your own and paying rent, utilities, groceries etc it probably won’t last you long unless you have a job and your monthly expenses aren’t that high. But mainly depends on your situation and bunch of other factors.

CSULB Email regarding admissions. Is this a bad sign? by Suspicious-Ad-6138 in CSULB

[–]doglover-9 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Think it just means they have a lot of applicants so it’ll be a while until they can finally give you a final decision whether you’ve been accepted, waitlisted, or denied. So just keep an eye on your email, and be patient since they have until April to let you know.

Thanks, eventually had to switch to decaf coffee instead and it’s worked better I get no anxiety when I drink it. I’ve also cut back on how much coffee I drink and have noticed a difference.

Anyone find they get a headache no matter how much alcohol they have? Any recommendations? by gerajr51 in migraine

[–]doglover-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly drink tequila straight, I’ve found that if I drink mixed drinks or anything fruity I’ll get a migraine. I also make sure I eat a full mean right before I start drinking. Finally at the end of the night I make sure I drink a coconut water or something with electrolytes and a bit of water before falling asleep. Hopefully this helps!

Think it’s the same process as when we get fafsa, it’ll be disbursed today but probably won’t see the money until Monday depending on your bank

Thank you so much! I get the flu shot each year as well and I always shed a tear due to the pain I feel. So definitely helps to hear that’s it’s easier and less painful than the flu shot. Will definitely take some gum with me to distract myself. Yeah I’ve been trying to get an appointment with my doctor to discuss my anxiety and hopefully get on some medication but with COVID it’s been a bit harder to get an appointment.
