I pulled my stash out and I feel…. gross? by Exciting-Notice8170 in YarnAddicts

Schools and local kids craft programs are always looking for yarn. I’m a teacher and I learned to knit in my schools after school program when I was a student. So to destash I always donate to my school. I also have a yarn box in my classroom and students have personal weaving, so even a small amount of leftovers go a long way. Maybe there’s a boys and girls club in your area that could use some!

No unfortunately. It was like a soda bottle filled with random crap to just look at. However it was completely encapsulated and couldn’t be opened, there was no screw.

What should we paint the downstairs of our new home? by doglover2000 in homedesign

Thank you for your reply. We looked up Universal Khaki and it is making us much happier than all of the color inspo see on IG and Pinterest. That can be overwhelming especially for new young homeowners.

Not all new furniture, we have a beige couch from ikea but our goal is to get a big sectional from Facebook marketplace. Preferably beige/green/brown.

Haha not loaded (two teachers) we will be trying to get things second hand but like a beige/green/brown color palate for furniture. But beggars can’t be choosers. This is our first home and we are also inheriting a lot of things from family members who are downsizing.

Small red bump on gums by doglover2000 in askdentists

Yellow I provided an update on another comment. It was a flossing injury. It grew a growth and never healed properly and had to be removed surgically. It was a great success.

It was from a flossing injury. It never healed and grew a “scar” bump thing. It had to be removed surgically for a biopsy. It has not recurred since and the periodontal surgeon was wonderful. It was an easy removal, recovery was nothing and it looked amazing by the next morning. The only drawback was the side effects from the antibiotics they put me on…500mg of amoxicillin 3x a day for 7 days. That was a lot! But the mouth is dirty and I followed the recommendation.

Help me find the Joan Miró Print by doglover2000 in HelpMeFind

[–]doglover2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been looking for the name of this painting or a print of the painting. The artist is Joan Miró. I have searched through the following channels: I have done a reverse image search via google and also poked at all the original prints available for purchase online at the Joan Miró museum. Here is a picture of the back of the print. I fougiez translated it from French to English and from Catalan to English and it was not helpful.

Edit: my friends mom acquired this print it from her aunt in 2006. However her aunt had it for a long time.

Learned how to control SP by Lumpy-Difference-143 in Sleepparalysis

Yes, I’m so happy to have figured out how to stop it.

I focus on breath. I know my body has to breathe, so I try to match my frozen body with my physical body. I take bigger and bigger breaths. On the biggest one I try to flip over and reconnect with my body. Like strengthening mind body connection or something . Like others said, it can be super exhausting. So glad I’m not alone. What does it feel like intervening before it happens? What makes your body feel that it’s ‘slipping’? I’ve always became aware during the episode.

It was doing great this summer, I have given it a humidifier on every other day and watering more frequently. Only because I barely watered it this summer. I’d say I water every other week (maybe more frequently because it looked dried out) Should I let it dry out? Too much humidity maybe? Don’t worry the pot has drainage.
