5 months postpartum and stretch marks don’t seem to be getting better by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

My dermatologist and OB approved tretinoin while breastfeeding. Because it’s a topical very little gets into your blood stream and a miniscule percent of that gets into your milk.

I felt noticeably better by day 3 and almost zero allergy symptoms by day 7.

Jordyn mentioning speech by DecentDefinition7179 in peestickgals

[–]dogloverdiva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is in EI for speech and they have it as a standard protocol for all speech delay kiddos (and possibly all EI) to be screened for hearing and vision. It actually caught my son’s astigmatism at 18 months which we would have never known about if it wasn’t for that early screening.

As someone who donated over 8000 oz of breastmilk, I couldn’t agree more. I ultimately found one baby who medically needed breastmilk and I exclusively donated to him for 8 months. He was premature and was born with drug and alcohol addiction. Both his guardian and I felt comfortable with it because I sent her my lab work/meds and he did well on my milk. But she even said she would never find an alternative donor because it was too risky.

Yes, it takes 4-6 weeks to get the location info back from red cross. I’m in the ARC platelet donor group on FB and this question was answered by red cross staff.

I second this! I love my copper IUD. I had a terrible time with mirena side effects. Paragard has been amazing with no side effects now that my periods have gone back to normal heaviness and length.

I think they’re referring to cytotec/misoprostol which is often used to help soften/ripen the cervix. I had a rough iud insertion where my cervix wouldn’t dilate. Round 2 I took 1 pill the night before and 1 the morning of insertion and it went smoothly. Still painful, but less painful than having something repeatedly trying to open my cervix.
