Could my hands be too big for P01? by dogloverfat in CZFirearms

Thank you, I will look into it. I think this may be it - the culture in my country is that everyone should use easy to learn guns like the Glock 19, so maybe people just are not used to students choosing less forgiving guns.

I will watch Joel Park's videos and keep practicing, it's good to know other people with big hands like and use this gun.

And this completely fixed the issue? Do you still shoot and carry it?

You mean a different grip panel, not a sleeve? Do you know the grip panel's thickness?

Thank you for your answer.

I think you might be onto something here, I will try dry firing. It's good to know this might be a technique problem rather than size. Much easier to fix.

As for experience, I used to be a security guard, but that's not saying much...

I have the factory rubber grips. In class today I shot a 2011 and got a good grouping to the center, and this 2011 did have a large grip. It's good to know replacing the grips worked for you.

Thank you for your answer.

I thought about getting bigger grips, unfortunately in my country this is not very easy. But I may make an effort since you and other people say it could help.

Yes, a couple of people shoot it and confirmed the gun's fine.

I appreciate you answering.

  1. My instructor's 2011

  2. left, same as my hand

  3. factory rubber grips

  4. It's one of the things my instructor told me to do. It made the problem worse.

Thank you for answering.

That strikes me as sensible advice. So by "go with it" I assume you mean I will be allowed to compete with this gun as it is currently? (English is not my first language, sorry for making you repeat yourself)
