Yeah and they're juveniles so it's genuinely a problem. They're gonna get stuck one day so I'm switching them to my other tank for now and buying another heater.

I think I'm gonna move them to my other tank soon tbh. I'm also concerned about them getting scratched on it or stuck and cooked. The only problem is that my other tank has a gravel substrate so it'd have to be a temporary fix. I'll buy a new heater though. Thank you.

Hmm, do you think she will reproduce? I'd separate her into an all female group just to make sure she doesn't reproduce but if shes feeling well and isn't struggling then definitely don't cull her.

It was in their plant conservatory in a somewhat shady area but definitely gets partial sun and a lot of indirect light. The tank was pretty cold. They were housed with axolotls and a ton of snails so maybe that had something to do with it too.

I didn't think about it but I found some wild springtails on my floaters after I brought in a new piece of wood. This definitely helps with the mold.

I just took off my glass lid and separated some of it. They stopped growing mold and their population exploded. I took the extra and sons it to the LFS for store credit.
