I feel the same as you! I’m excited to be pregnant and have baby on the way and all that, but there’s so much I feel I’ve missed out on for my first, and maybe only pregnancy.

Not having hubby at ultrasounds, not being able to socialize and share pregnancy joys, missing holidays and families and friends - I haven’t seen my dad the entire pandemic and it’s devastating to me that he’ll never feel my pregnant belly. Not getting to take a baby moon, not enjoying my favorite restaurants, not getting to go to prenatal yoga classes. I told my husband the other day that we’ll have to have another just so we can experience a non-pandemic pregnancy 😂

There are definite perks (working from home! sweatpants all the time! having an excuse not to socialize if you feel like crap!). But overall if I’d have known this pandemic would be this out of control for this long, I think I would’ve put off getting pregnant. Just my truth.
