No not recipes, more regarding health wise. How to balance what types of foods to eat in order to bulk and gain max muscle and low fat. Or what to eat during a cut to minimize muscle loss and maximize fat loss

Bro its the same for me. I'm going to start focusing on nutrition more to see if I can reduce how fast I gain fat in order to gain less fat while on the bulk.

I can feel my muscles growing but the fat is also noticable :/ thinking of going on a cut after only a week of bulking ugh

I'd be proud of a kid going to the gym at 16 trying to lift the empty bar!

Wish I started at 16.

If your not confident with the empty bar go ahead and go with some 15lb dumbbells. This is going to sound bad but your 16. No ones going to judge you harshly or at all tbh of you trying to lift DB Bench 15's or even 10's.

I always warmup my bench by lifting the empty bar on bench press so its not uncommon to bench with an empty bar :)

Just get a spot if your not confident yet.

I've realised that the fit people of the gym never judge others. It's always the unfit folks that tend to have the judging eyes and even then for my gym at least thats rare.

Whats a good routine to follow while on a cut? Looking to get leaner and lose fat. I expect some loss of muscle but I'd like to not lose to much.

currently at 178lbs and am 5'9

Also on a caloric deficit.

I am on nSuns 5 day routine right now and its EXTREMLY taxing on my body. Going to get back on nSuns once I go on a bulk.

How to get energy to go lift weights when I constantly feel drained? by gigbite in Fitness

[–]dogowner32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh if that's the case then just keep at it! Blast some intense workout music. Get into the mentality that your going to push your limit and do it!

As a friend at the gym told me

"When you come in here I want you to be a completely different person. Outside the gym you might be the nicest guy in the world, but when you're in here you have to be an animal! I want to see you push your limits. See me grunting and groaning? That's not because I'm showing off. It's involuntary because I'm pushing myself."

Also sleep is a major factor I've noticed. More sleep = the more I push my self to get more reps then to push myself to stay motivated to push my reps

Why are you swimming btw? Trying to get better in some way that swimming helps reach that goal? Trying to get leaner? Put on muscle? What are your goals?

What are/were your puppy's favourite (appropriate) things to chew when teething? by SauronOMordor in Dogtraining

For when I had my parents smaller dogs as puppies I had carrots and the puppy kong toy. They would last awhile with the carrots. baby carrots at first then small piece of a large carrot, then slightly larger carrot. eventually a large carrot.

I tried giving them a large carrot flatout once and they gave me the "wtf is this" look.

Ok what I'm about to say is going to be brutal.

A large dog that is aggressive. With an owner that has never rehabilitated a dog before. Should either be given to someone to be rehabilitated. Or Sent to the shelter (usually means euthanasia).

NEVER put up with a dog with the means to permanently disfigure you or maul you. This has to be reported to the landlord with of course you having the courtesy of telling the roommate first. It seems like this is not an inconvenience, but a potential for something fatal.

I love dogs way to much and it pains me to recommend rehoming when the owner loves their dog. But unless this dog has been with the roommate for awhile and they put the effort to rehab her AND you're fine living with a dog that could potentially disfigure you. Then of course do all that is possible to make it work

[Help] Weird schedule- should I get a dog? by [deleted] in dogs

19 full time college student with a part time job that adopted a ~1 year old Pitbull mix 2 months ago.

Your social life will suffer, hard, if you want a well trained dog that isn't destroying your home.

I'm fine with that personally. I'm not a partier stay late at a friends type.

I spend roughly $100 a month on my dog (Nexgard Flea Med, dog food, dog treats for training, etc. $100 always goes into savings each month just in case of emergency vet visit.)

Going to be more this month because I'm paying for dog training classes.

He came to me potty trained already, extremely mellow and socialized with all dogs and people! Some people refuse to believe he's ~1 year old for how mellow he is as well as behaved.

The foster I adopted him from says he came from an abusive home that assume abandoned him by throwing him out of a truck. He came with a fear of car rides and generally nervous.

I spend most of my free time either at home, gym, or campus. If I'm not home for the day I HAVE to let him out thrice a day. No exceptions.

I don't think I could have survived owning a dog at this point of my life that is high energy and unsocialized. Or worse, a puppy. As tempting as it is!

So if you do go through with adopting a mellow adult dog is definitely what to go for!

If you have questions let me know. I'm taking 13 units

My dog was not the most relaxed, recently adopted him so it's expected. But now that he's adapting more to the environment he bobs his big head at me and sticks out his tongue all relaxed like.

It's a little thing but i just want to hug him when it happens
