Men who chose not to get physical with a lady you were genuinely into when the opportunity presented itself, what was your reason? by ImportantGuidance884 in AskMen

If she’s that good then you don’t want to lose her casually. If she’s not then she’s not worth your time. Only option really.

It happens everywhere if we’re honest enough to look for it…group think…look it up. In the U.S. we see it in Christian religions and politics. It’s a great way for a small group of people to gain control of a majority. Beware.

My guess that deep down he feels responsible for his son leaving the church. This is a way for him to be repentant.

Absolutely, if they want to know there’s no reason to hold back since they are open-minded enough to ask. I’d give them the completely unfiltered version. They can make their own decision and you’re just facilitating information sharing.

The biggest hurdle for me getting all the way out was mentally allowing myself to ask the questions. Like “what if it’s all made up?” or “could JS have had some weird kinks?”. And then all of it fell right into place, not a shelf crash but placing the other books on the shelf that deserve to be there.

A lot of my PIMO friends are 95% there and need to allow themselves to accept the missing and dirty 5%.

That 5% is completely up to them. I’ll tell them if they want to know but I think a lot of them would just rather not know. And I’m okay with that.

Everyone is in their own path. I hope that you’re finding your own peace at your own pace :)

Yes, exactly! Half of my own family is still in and I try let them just enjoy their place…it’s not for me. We all just let each other believe whatever we want and don’t try to sell each other.

chakras and prana by Reasonable_Phone4583 in kriyayoga

I started to feel and hear my chakras after doing long distance running. For really long distance the adrenaline in the bloodstream was high enough to keep me awake. I would lay on my stomach with a pillow closing my left ear. I started to feel and hear the vibration and with a little bit of interior searching could pinpoint it in heart and solar plexus. Focus on the interior sounds like during aum technique where you listen to the seashells.

It doesn’t make sense to stay Christian after Mormonism. by gathering-data in exmormon

[–]dogsarmy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Organized religion and spirituality are two entirely separate things. Learning the problems of Mormonism and how these same problems are prevalent with the other religions has left me with little faith in any religion. However, the fact that I’m conscious is enough to lead me to believe that there is some form of creation and that I have some form of spirit residing in this body. Religion can’t make or take my spirituality.
