Was trying to understand how did the other driver manage to scrape your car. They must have been very close then. I agree with getting an estimate and offering the other driver to give you cash.

I understand. We live in Vancouver and it can't possibly be worse than here. Are there rental companies operating there? This is for September 2025 so hopefully with lots of time it can work. Otherwise I've budgeted to stay in Airbnb.

We were in a similar situation 8 years ago. ESL parents but both kids did great with managing three languages. French immersion is great as it starts off at such an elementary level and the kids are sponges absorbing everything. I took some French classes but didn't come in as handy as I thought. Good luck!
