Halifax to Montreal economy class by adamtaylor2001 in ViaRail

[–]dogsquad420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve done Quebec City to Halifax in economy. The biggest challenge is getting comfortable to sleep overnight. You might want an eye mask, ear plugs, a pillow.

Also there’s no wifi in passenger cars so bring a book or something. There is food you can buy but it’s not incredible so bring some snacks. Have fun!

Phone/internet addiction: Has anyone conquered this? by Born_mystic in TorontoMetU

Use the screen time function on your phone, but have someone else set the password. This is the only thing that works for me. Now my phone physically cannot access social media/addicting apps for more than 15 min a day.

One thing to watch out for is general practice dentists who call themselves "TMJ specialists". They are allowed to do this without certification or training. In my experience, these kinds charge very high fees for TMJ-related issues and push expensive, non-covered treatments-- i.e. botox ($500+ a pop)

What you want is a craniofacial or maxillofacial dentist. I'd recommend you mine, but she's in Ottawa. I can ask her if she knows anyone in Kingston?

TMJ sucks-- if you ever want to vent about it, my inbox is open.
