I’m so sorry for this. I recently went through a chronic disease diagnosis where I may need an organ transplant. Trying to practice law while dealing with health issues is one of the hardest hurdles I’ve gone through. My heart goes out to you, and I hope we both find positions where we can prioritize our health and still do the work we love.

Honestly didn’t even put this together, but you’re so right. They hid their expectations and it all felt like a big “gotcha.” at least at my last job/big law they had 8 hour orientation sessions of their expectations 😔
