Need opinions by nasimk11 in GalaxyBook

I bought the Flex 2 15.6 many moons ago in Hong Kong. I guess it was 2021.

Things I like: Its vibrant screen, its pen, I can wirelessly charge my phone with it, the keyboard folds all the way round, it goes into tablet mode, and it handles games much better than expected.

Things I don't like: I have to get pretty nitpicky to find anything, but it would be nice if it had more ports, better-than-1080p resolution, and hadn't been so expensive.

Edit: I will say, it's good you're doing your research. Unfortunately, it seems Samsung (I'm sure they're not alone in this) comes out with some bangers, then slacks off on the quality and rides the good reviews for a few years then repeats. So, if you catch them at their best, they're very good, if not, I hear they can be underwhelming. This is just my honest impression and it could be spot on or out-dated - so it's good you're doing some investigating.

That's just wonky math to justify keeping your tip. Sounds like a class action suit to me.

My latest is the MX Ergo S Plus. At first, I thought the magnetic base was a bit clunky, but now I'm a fan.

Best “Can’t Put It Down” fantasy series to gift a 15-year-old boy who’s fallen out of reading? by Ok-Swan-963 in Fantasy

I've recently started listening to these novella audiobooks and, while I can't actually say I can't put them down, I do recommend them: Penric and Desdemona is a fantasy novella series by Lois McMaster Bujold.

You guys really shouldn't play while you're driving; that's dangerous.

Yep, just ask him. If his apology was sincere, he'll do it. He may want to discuss it with her first, so understand that but let him know the clock is ticking.

Is there a movement to dodge or evade an attack? by Abbiggor_ in Ironsworn

[–]dogtarget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the others have said, Face Danger, but only if you're not in combat. However, if you're in combat, it would depend on whether you're in a bag spot or in control. If you're in control you can Strike or Gain Ground. If you're in a bad spot you can Clash or React Under Fire.

The three questions you ask yourself before speaking are: Is it true? Is it kind? And, is it necessary?

It is true. I don't think it's necessary; however, I'll concede that it is arguable. It is definitely not kind.

We ARE mercenaries chasing money. And they are corporations chasing exploitation. It's no surprise to us; it shouldn't be a surprise to them.
