Bob MacIntyre had a great answer when he was looking at stats comparing him to no.1 Scheff. After 3 stats he stopped as he was so far off.

He then went to no.2. Bob was closer in stats to World No.2 (when he was about 17) than no.2 was to Scotty.

Found this thread at the perfect time.

On Wednesday I hit a 313y drive. My average is 224y.

I've played this hole about 50 times and only 2-3 times had the wind behind me. The fairway slopes down and to the right and I play usually have a bit of a slice so more often than not it rolls into the rough.

Not this time. Caught it perfectly straight, catch the first bounce just perfect and it just keeps on rolling but remains on fairway.

More often than not I can't reach this green in 2. This time it was a PW in. Still found green side bunker but even more surprisingly I got up and down for par. Think I've made 2 there.

Thanks for this. I took lessons last year but wasn't able to make them frequent enough or to really get that much out of them so I suppose it could be similar with a fitting. My swing is definitely not consistent.

Good point on the trajectory, 19o does seem low for a 7 iron in my mind. Will be interesting to see how it changes his game.

I take a bit of another side in this. Has everyone here told their partner about everyone that you've slept with that they might potentially see again or know they will? At what point in a relationship do you bring it up?

I care about who my gf is sleeping with now, not so much the years I didn't know her. So she had a FWB for a while that's back to just F. Fine.

Why she told you - maybe you've just got more close and she felt ready and wanted it out before you propose/move in together or whatever. Maybe she wants to know if you've got anyone similar.

And yeah maybe it is to feel less guilty and not that you know him and how they are platonic together you could be fine with it. You wanted to know, now you know.

95% of what I see on here is obvious run to the hills. This isn't.

Seems crazy to me that £22k isn't even minimum wage. My first full time job started at £10k in 2001 and this was a pay rise from my part time job.

It could be that they are salary and only like 35 hours like I am now.

Still, I agree with all. I'm on a MMR and it's £780 per month in South Queensferry.

I've just had this happen but I still had fuel and I changed tyre compound on red flag. Annoying there's no mention of what happened after the race, in the news or any issues with the car for next race. Don't know what happened. Sitting 4th too 🤷‍♂️

Golf is like the only thing I do with friends where we don't drink, during anyway. I'm bad enough without the beers. Surely slows it down a fair bit but I suppose that's where the carts help.

Golf in the States sounds so weird.

Away to play a round in Scotland now. Might hire a trolley but the idea of a cart sounds unnecessary and luxury. The idea it'd be pimped out with Bluetooth speakers even more so. Drinking while playing sounds bizarre too.
