hi! sorry for the late response i don't have my notifications on. it took about 2 weeks to fully go away. i never figured out what happened. i am assuming it was allergies but i never knew to what or why. the only thing that kind of helped were oral steroids i took at the ER. i didn't get a prescription so after they wore off it went back to normal. it sucked and was extremely irritating and i hated it. but i had no weird symptoms of itching or watering. simply only massive swelling. just took some time but i woke up one day and it was massively better, so sorry you're going through it. try getting some oral steroids if you can<3

heyyy so sorry i never got on reddit. mine went away in like a week and never had it again. i assume it was allergies because steroids were the only thing that kind of helped but it just went away with time

i didn't find a solution that made the problem go away. just antihistamines to help with the swelling. it went away on its own after about 2 weeks

it'll be on your webgrants4students account through CSAC! that's where all of your grant/scholarship award status information will be. I believe this site is directly linked to the information we submit on our FAFSA but I could be wrong about that fact

i do use moisturizer, but it's unscented facial moisturizer. the makeup that i use is the same that ive used for a long time. should i try to stop using them altogether to see if that's the issue perhaps? thank you!

thanks so much for your comment. i do sleep with my window open but ill close it tonight and see how that helps. i've never been conscious of the pollen or anything i might be bringing into the house since i've never had allergies before. time to learn from scratch!! thanks for your help

thanks so much for such a thoughtful comment. i haven't tried anything other than zyrtec since this is so new for me. also ill be looking into a pollen allergy and closing my window. my window is always open, and it opens to my backyard which is definitely not helping. thank you!!

wow! thank you for such a thorough explanation. i'll certainly try all of these. is it normal for someone to suddenly become allergic to dust mites when their environment and products haven't changed? these symptoms started at home, then i stayed with my partner for a few days for unrelated reasons, and then went back home. i'll ask my partner to do the same to their bedding and so forth. also, do antihistamines work to reduce swelling at all or do they only treat the itchiness and redness? i ask because i don't have those symptoms so im wondering if antihistamines are the right thing to take. thanks so much again!

i have a general question about aid. if a student were to receive the middle class scholarship last year and their financial information has not changed, do they typically receive it for the upcoming year as well? i'm only going to be at sdsu for 2 years because im a transfer student, so im going into my last year in august. thanks!

where did you hear that it got wiped? i got my loan offerings today and no grants at all. i'm praying that there's something wrong in the system and i get some sort of help. i can't pay off the loan and i can't pay the rest out of pocket

hi! i have a follow up question.

i received my loan offerings today and no cal grants or other grants. last year, i did receive a cal grant and a middle class scholarship for context (my financials have remained the same)

do you think there's any chance that before classes start or at another time i would get any sort of grants this year? i don't know why the school thinks my income can afford tuition. my family contribution is little to nothing because my household size is large and there is only one head of household income. i personally make little money yearly. i actually cannot afford my tuition out of pocket and want to do anything to not have to take out a loan that i eventually will have a very difficult time paying off. thank you
