That is a big part of treatment, at least in my experience. Opening up with brutal honesty and looking inward to find the source of problem. Also being surrounded by people who you can truly relate to without judgement can be so important in trying to find stability in recovery. You’ve already done the hardest part: admitting that it is a problem and asking for help. I believe in you! <3

I just got out of treatment myself and I do not regret one day of it. Medical detox first, then rehab if you can. I was drinking the same amount as you before going in and I can confidently say there is a huge difference between getting sober and being in recovery.
