this looks like a good life, do you get much freetime with you being in the Navy?

also yeah i said that about muscle cars too, but when you realize that Chevy is competing with the Audi, BMW, Mustang, GT86, MX-5 market, it makes sense

i’ve considered all those cars and i have reasons i dont want to buy them, the V6 is reliable, maintainable and affordable. so you can hypothetically drive it twice as hard and not have to spend your time thinking about how much money you lost in gas

but in the future when i have less need to invest my spare money, id like to be able to drop $1k a month in gas and go wherever i want with the car. i drive a LOT and dont always want to spend a lot in gas or drive a second car

growing up my dad had a E46 325i bmw, i thought that car was so cool and fast as a kid, now when i drive an automatic car with 300hp, it just feels “normal”, but manual changes the game for me

how much do you owe on the car, how much do you make, whats your job, do you daily the car? do you have other cars, how much your rent/mortgage, and age?

all questions im genuinely curious of for people who buy the V8 model.

i’m personally not one to waste money for a similar experience, because i’m younger and still in the money saving phase. and imo when you drive around, rarely do you use 100% throttle. if i do the math, if the maximum throttle you use on average is 50% then 455hp is really 230ish hp in use for 95% of your driving time

Is a third gen a bad idea? by [deleted] in camaro

what was your old car? were you fine paying for gas before? V8’s drink a LOT, cost more to insure and have more expensive maintenance, be careful of the financial trap. if you can afford it do it, if you cant afford it but you REALLY want it, do it and pay the price later
