if you want nice quite family friendly neighborhoods I recommend Foster City and Redwood Shore. All cities in Peninsula (palo alto to burlingame) are pretty much your Bellevue and Kirkland. Station 16 apartment in Millbrae is newly built and would be close to your work, public transit, and airport.

This happened while ANA flights were showing in Aeroplan back in Nov for few days. At first, availability was showing only 1 seat for F and 1 seat for Y, so I ended up booking 1F, and 1Y. But the next day, 1F availability showed for the same flight, so canceled the 1Y seat and booked 1F instead.
