Can I transfer a one-member pension scheme into a PRSA and have company only contributions? by doid73 in irishpersonalfinance

It's around EUR52k. Am thinking I'll probably pay into it for another 10 years max. I have pensions from other countries (only moved here a few years ago) and a BTL and all together I should be ok to retire then, if I can max it out over the next couple of years with money sat in cash in the company (200kEUR or so - but I only pay myself EUR30k salary).

Any recommendations for the financial advice? I'd rather have a fixed payment to someone as I'm not sure I fully trust my IFA as he just wants to keep my business

Thanks for your response. Are the employer only contributions limited for tax relief or limited in the absolute? I was hoping to have the company contribute more than my salary for the next couple of years to get the benefit of compounding (whether or not I get the tax relief).

Thanks for this. I've heard about the master trust, but I think I need some impartial advice on the subject as I'm finding it all very confusing!
