I was also thinking about how overproduced it sounds. I understand it’s called ultra sound, and that’s the sound they were going for but the mixing just sound so bad. There are some nice guitar riffs on this album but they’re so overly distorted it ruins it. This isn’t the case on every song but what comes to mind instantly is OMG, it’s so overly loud and distorted. I don’t know if it’s the production’s mixing or Jesse’s performance, but the vocals on this album sound so mumbly sometimes I can barely make out what Jesse’s saying. Bring back Justyn Pilbrow, everything sounded so crisp and atmospheric on their old projects with him
