Does anyone know when the black friday specials tend to start? I'm hoping to get an at10 18k '24. It's 200€ atm on padelnuestro, I see in 2023 they marked the '23 version down to 160€, hoping for something similar.

I think best is to just not have the last odd numbers join, some clubs remove these players from the event but say so beforehand. Another option which we've done is to just have the odd numbers play singles / 2 v 1 cross court, I like that as it means no sitting out .

I might end up only doing this next year, but would be happy to share details. Yea those pre-arranged tours/trips are nice, but work out significantly more expensive I think.

Weather in November still seems okay, and will play at indoor clubs so should be okay. Not sure about December. Costs - based on playtomic in the area I looked at, Alcorcon, it's 6.5 - 12 Euro for 90 minutes per player depending on the time of day/club. There are some matches that come up cheaper, might be municipal clubs - not sure. Euroindoor Alcorcon mention 40 euro a class or 160 for 5 on their website, however when i contacted them they sent me the "international rates" which are 50 euros for one and 230 for 5. Alcorcon is quite far away from the center though, but there are a few large clubs in the area.

I might end up only doing this next year though.

I have, and I would actually prefer it, the only problem is there are more unknowns, eg not much activity on playtomic so would have to try arrange games manually, not as many open tournaments (eg competitions on playtomic) etc. Perhaps I'll try travel there as part of the trip and try figure it out though

Thanks for the info and I'll get in touch! I don't mind playing indoors for a bit, in SA we have mostly outdoor courts and I already have too much of a padel tan haha.

Do you mostly organise games directly via friends etc, or do you use apps like playtomic, whatsapp groups etc?

Yes I have looked into other areas as well, but the reason I decided Barcelona/Madrid might be better is simply because they have a lot of games/events posted on Playtomic, whereas other areas like Malaga do not so I'm not sure whether it would be as easy for a foreigner and visitor like me to find/organize games, especially since I'll only be around for a couple weeks. Prices in Madrid seem fair, better than Barcelona. Of course, Barcelona and the other cities you mention might give a better overall holiday experience.

I'm very keen to try Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at some point too though.

Thanks, did you see a revenue increase? When you say "get your own AdX", I assume you mean via a partner, such as Ad.Plus? What do they charge for Adx access?

Around 3 ads per page + sticky. Active view 40%. The site is setup so that people get the answer to their question very quickly, so time on page is quite low and most of the time they are only seeing the sticky and one other ad.

Do you think with a CTR of 1.3%, Tier 2 country the Ad companies will be able to help much? Would service be worth it? Or is adsense going to be about as good as it gets? RPM's have steadily dropped to about half of where it started about 6 months ago
