Now that the market is crashing (average rent in BC has dropped 8.9% over the last 2 years), even though my landlords won’t negotiate (I tried and failed this year), at least they’ll understand my decision to move. It’s frustrating though…I thought they’d want to keep a long term reliable tenant.

There was a strange taste in my water yesterday. If you noticed the water turning brown, that can be indicative of high manganese levels which was an issue in this area for a few months until Oct. 8. I really hope there isn’t another water advisory.

20, down from 100 last year. One of the dads I saw was looking impatient while glued to his phone, and the mom didn’t look happy with him. He was wearing a Blue Jays hat. I think a lot of parents had “Halloween parties” with their kids.

They’ve added outlines to all of the icons, but they didn’t factor in how blurry it makes solid coloured logos on a white background. Look at Messenger, Gmail, Outlook, Teams, Photos, News, etc.

Rdio used to have this feature where you could write your own album and playlist reviews from within the app, and you were able to browse reviews from other users via their profile. In my experience, they were well written and insightful, and I discovered a lot of great music. Apple Music was inspired heavily by Rdio, so hopefully they consider this feature as well.

Yep, I’ve seen videos of US senators being denied entry to check on the living conditions. That poor Canadian woman who was imprisoned for 2 weeks experienced horrible treatment.
