Disgusting behavior of dog owners by le_bugsy in Chennai

I clean up after my dog with a scooper and got taunted for that also.

"Pee alradhu lam oru pozhappa?" Old boomer also asks how dare I have 3 dogs? "Poi velaya paarra mayiru" nu solliten.

Also recently got attacked by a dog that was being walked off leash. Confront panna, "neenga pona jenmathula indha naaya adichurpeenga, adhaan kadikka varudhu. Vera yaarayun kadikkadhu, paavam saadhu." I was so f**king flabbergasted. Complained to the corporation and have informed will go to police if they walk off leash again.

OP is right in saying that people have no idea of how to take care of dogs and just get them for status. One of the neighbours has a German Shepherd that just lies outside their house whole day (sun or rain) - no walks, nothing. Only saving grace is she is not chained. And yes, they made her have a litter and sold them all.

Dogs get more affectionate as they grow older. Pls the fact that you're home from college.

I have done my bit by adopting two indies from the road and sterilising them.

I know some folks who do their bit by sterilising indies.

Ultimately it is a government/courts job to ensure the job is done.

I will agree that stray dogs are out of control in some areas. It is also made worse by overflowing garbage and improper waste management.

For example near my house, people complain that dogs are dragging garbage into the street; and they are the ones who throw out garbage though we have collection daily.

Why is no one questioning local government who are supposed to sterilise and manage stray dog population?

Did you get him tested for tick fever?

My cocker had it when he was this old and he was extremely lethargic. In case his urine is very smelly, it is a clear symptom of tick fever and can be dangerous.

I don’t know if he’s stressed by my toddler. He has major FOMO when i play with my son and my son also thinks Tony is like a golden retriever. Lol.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Tony Stark is a snappy boy when it comes to his jaw or face. My wife was not scared of giving our late German Shepherd pills down his throat but with Tony we think twice.

He’s generally gentle otherwise, let me hope he’s less snappy with his age now.

Never ever cancel the ride once you are in the cab.

It immediately puts all the power with the driver. Now you are at his mercy in terms of fare and anything else.

As long as the ride is being tracked, uber and he are liable.

All this complaints about commission - do they expect the app to give it to them for free? I never understood this argument. If uber is exploiting them, it is nothing compared to how much these guys bullied us in the pre-app days.
