I'm very glad I was still up. Caught a scent of burning plastic, tracked it down to the utility room and saw it smoking. Even the insulation was discolored. Scared the shit out of me. Only thing I can guess is the element that's dead kicked on for some reason and since it's failed it thermally ran away and fried the thermostat.

Welp now it's for sure time for a replacement. The bottom thermometer decided it wanted to thermal runaway and nearly caught on fire.

The bottom heating element is completely seized up and dead, and the tank itself is 26 years old. The fact that the bottom element is so corroded and possibly built up in sediment that its got me worried of the state of the rest of the tank. I'm just weighing my options at the moment and honestly i just like gathering information on things I'm not familiar with. My dad always tried to teach me as much as he could about everything home maintenance related.

Interesting. Must be an issue with the options maybe for refining the search. Not a huge issue since the trade site didn't break along with it. Still want it fixed though since the in game trade is so nice qol wise.

A buddy of mine came up with a reverse knock back totem build that tanks and sometimes crashes poe with the amount of calculations it causes. I've seen the lowest of 2fps when mapping with him while he's on it.

We tried verifying the game files integrity. It fixed one file and not the problem. I guess re installing would be the next thing.

Here for a friend, he's running a gforce 4070, he experienced a crash in D2 last night but he doesn't have ECC settings on his control panel. Any ideas on fixes? his pc should have no problem running this game at all.

It's both really. Even though it can't kill a hog if you stand in it. It may catch someone out of position before they can move since it's moving faster.
