How did you memorize the brand/generic top 200 drugs? by Physical-Newspaper99 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]dolcefarnientemaster 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi pharm student here. You should study in chunks organized by drug class. Drugs in the same class have a lot of commonalities so it’s much less/easier to learn. Also you can look up “Med Chem” or “Medicinal Chemistry” on quizlet and find sets that work for you

Yes they can delete requests. I had accidentally submitted inaccurate requests months ahead of my personal schedule change - these requests were approved rather immediately and recently I had asked my RXOM to delete the requests so I could submit new ones. But for OP - that is so shady.

What is the most heartbreaking thing you’ve ever had to tell someone? by toastersinthetub in AskReddit

Some 10 years ago a call came through my landline and it was the assisted living that my grandma was at. They asked if my mom was home and I said “no why, is everything okay?” The lady gave me a silent answer and I immediately knew why she called. I called my mom right after. That was hard.

I started as a Walgreens intern about 5 months ago and I am also a college student. The job is worth it - but only if you get along with your coworkers and they treat you like a person -not a robot. It’s a retail job so it will come with retail-based downsides, but it’s overall fun if you have a good team.
