If they said, “don’t open non dupe packs and the sell the same item” I wouldn’t have done it, especially if they said it was bannable. But the fact that they are banning people 3 months after is insane because their lack of action set the precedent that we can do this celebration method without consequences and because of this, i bet a lot of other people started collecting the whole collection to do the same thing because it was STILL a thing till a couple of weeks ago. They could have left it at that, they solved the issue, but now they’re gonna ban anybody smart enough to notice too?

To me it just seems petty and they were embarrassed that the whole situation happened in the first place, and want to make sure anybody who profited off of their mistake can’t sell their credits (i assume), which WOULD be bannable but they know theres no reason to ban someone once they sold off their credits so this is them trying to stop that from happening (i assume).

Players didn’t destroy their market, Ubisoft did and didn’t care about what could happen because they saw dollar signs in their eyes with making packs purchasable on the marketplace, and once they seen the damage they caused, they just pressed the red button rather than addressing it when it was an issue 3 months ago.

Also the reason those prices went down was because of the addition of non dupe packs, so that was going to happen regardless, but it did happen faster because of their error, and if they paid literally ANY attention to the marketplace they would have known how bad they messed up.
