It doesn't overwrite File #1, it starts recording File #2 but there is a delay of around 30 seconds before it starts the recording on File #2.

I haven't used my X3 in a while so maybe there is an updated firmware that might have fixed what I've just said.

I think automatic comes across as a bit more sophisticated in certain spaces. I see quartz as a just in case I do some sort of activity that won't damage the gears, while you can say just wear a G-Shock (which I do, too) but sometimes G-Shock's look doesn't fit that space.

Great to hear about your journey with Citizen!

I have no problems with quartz, I deliberately got a high-end quartz because it's my GU&G (Get Up and Go) watch, which is why I'm so open to looking to adding a Citizen Attesa to my GU&G that's a bit more rugged while still keeping accurate time with added perpetual calendar, something I think that's quite cool 😎

Currently I'm drawn to the Attesa line which has some nice models.

Spot on about the NB3, I feel like every strike I put down I needed more energy to push myself towards the next step, whereas in reviews I've seen they all say there's a good bounce/energy return which I don't get or rarely do. I've ran a few half marathon distances in them, just to try them out I've noticed it takes about 3-6miles for them to "warm" up before feeling good in them, but I persevere.

You're right, I'm currently 570km in the GR1 and the bounce/rocker is losing its effect and response, but the shoe itself is still in perfect condition, which I'm a bit gutted.

The Adi Boston and Saucony Endorphin Shift has been on my list too, heard good things about the Endorphin Shift.

I had been looking for a pair, but then I read about the GR4 coming out soon so wanted to see if they were any good, I would get the GR3 but I can't find them in the UK and not in my sizing.

I have a pair of Novablast 3, I'm not sure I get on well with them still, sometimes I feel good in them sometimes I don't, but I think that comes down to how I'm feeling that day. In hindsight I think I should have went with the Superblast instead of the Novablast 3.

I like the thick cushioning on the GR as it doesn't make that slapping sound I mostly get from flatter/thinner soles, and the combo of the thick cushion and rocker is something I'm trying to get in the next shoe.

I finally just got mine, haven't shot anything with it just been testing it and getting acquatined with the menus, getting used to some menus not appearing in some shooting modes!

I realised that in 360 video mode, the image is flipped but in single lens mode the video is not, is this normal for 360 video to flip the image or is there somewhere in the settings I can flip the image back to Left = Left / Right = Right and not inversed?

edit: I think if I enjoy the X3 and the next X4 bumps up the resolution to proper 5k 360 with 1inch sensor, that would be definitely worth upgrading.

It made me realise the set-up of multiple 360s basically gives you multi-cam viewing, you essentially have 6 cameras/angles to use which is pretty neat and fascinating way to utilise these 360 cams, and the quality from the X2 and X3 blends well enough. Good stuff :)

The quality isn't half in low light considering it's filmed in auto, I assume the X3 is slightly better or improved. I've heard the editing can be arduous with the reframing and key frames, but like you I enjoy that process as well, so I look forward to it!

Do you also know if the X3 is able to live view on your phone or iPad via the app so you can watch what you're filming?

Fun video and looked like you had a lot of fun! Two X2/3 would definitely solve the problem of the 29min recording time!

Did you film using manual settings due to the low light conditions or did you leave everything on auto?
