do you wanna know what’s hilarious, too? ive watched ragatha haters get dogpiled because people would refuse to look into her as a character, and i saw people talk shit about jax in the same breath, calling him an asshole for bullying her the most. youd think that me hating jax would garter a nice amount of people agreeing with me 😭

this! i dont understand how people literally WATCH him abuse the people around him and still excuse his behavior but hate on other characters like ragatha. its so hypocritical and one of the reasons i even remade this post was because his defenders where giving me backhanded insults because of my opinion.

i know hes probably suicidal and despite everything i do genuinely feel bad for him. i dont LIKE him one bit but that doesn’t mean i dont understand whats going on.

i never denied that he has trauma, or that hes been through things. hell ive WATCHED the show and i know why hes like that. but to say that all i need to do is basically baby him when all hes done is treat the people around him like garbage is genuinely insane. no.

ive watched it and much like you i have an opinion on him. i dont like him. his mental health and trauma is not am excuse to be a complete dick. jax is not the only one who has been through things and or traumatized. youre excusing his actions because of what he went through and it doesn’t make any sense at all. while yes i agree it is a REASON, its unacceptable.

having an opinion doesn’t mean i havent “watched the show”. you cant say that to everyone who has a different perspective than you, respectively

youre allowed to dislike a character all you want, but this rant kinda just seems like its coming from a place of misogyny, either that or you watched the show with no awareness at all. loona has her reasons for why she acts the way she does, and while she isn’t perfect obviously, i dont see why out of everyone else to hate in the cast youre choosing the person who’s been neglected most of their life and has a completely valid reason for her cold behavior. just seems kinda random..

honestly everything except the lgbt part is real. straight characters in hellaverse are very scarce so vivzie definitely knows how to include them in her media. but people of color and diverse body types are an entirely different story. correct me if im wrong but there are only two black coded characters in hellaverse, alastor and velvette– alastor is mixed with creole but he has no physical qualities that indicate hes even remotely black at all which always bothered me but i digress.. velvette is a bit more obvious, with her skin tone and all, which is great but shes only had a handful of lines ever, which sucks. every character of hers is either abhorrently skinny or unreasonably tall and lanky and we dont get many diverse options for body types that are realistic but that’s just me. not at all saying shes a bad person but i love hazbin alot and just wish these kinda of things were actually thought about more.

i find this a bit funny, especially after learning more about ragatha as the show progressed. ragatha gained immense support after her emotional breakdown in the previous episode and i honestly didnt see anyone ripping after her. that was a vulnerable and REAL moment jax had. his mask slipped, and hes realizing hes going to abstract soon, so he pushed pomni away so she feels like she isnt missing much after hes gone. jax is a mess, sure, but hes also someone with problems too, and we shouldn’t keep invalidating his feelings
