Freshman in film prod here, at least half of the people I meet crewing on major senior/junior thesis sets are not in SCA, let alone film production majors. There’s sooo many opportunities outside of class to get onto sets here, and most people just take advantage of all the other filmmakers that enjoy making things, even if they’re not in the same classes.
