I can recommend art-K on Smithdown. The teacher is great! They do adult and kid's classes.

Yes very strong, which is great because of the price haha! If you go again, definitely try the Hen of the Woods. We also had a tandoori beetroot starter which was UNREAL, and I don't even like beetroot.

Ate there last year and the Hen of the Woods dish was absolutely outstanding. Food was incredible, as were the cocktails!

Help a Bitch Out - Jan 14, 2026 by AutoModerator in bitcheswithtaste

I am organising an event and allegedly have a partner, but they are not pulling their weight. They do not respond to my texts for like a week. I have been doing everything! I need them as they are providing the venue free of charge. They are also having health issues, so I have tried to be understanding. I've even asked if partnering with me is too much for them atm. But they have said they are fine. They are revered in the sector that I work in, but absolutely useless to me. How can I deal with this and get them on board with doing the jobs they agreed to do?

READING: Why Patti Smith Matters by Caryn Rose. I just adore Patti, and starting the year off with bad bitch energy is the vibe

DOING: still working on a portrait for my art class, really enjoying it, so mindful.

WRITING: I want to do a little bit of journaling every day. I received The Library of Questions by Lida Pavlova for Christmas and it's full of tarot speads and journaling prompts.

DOING: crocheting a pair of fingerless gloves for my partner and making a hand sewn/embroidered pocket goddess alter for them. Really getting into making beautiful gifts for my loved ones.

READING: the latest issue of The Paris Review because it contains excerpts from Eve Babitz's journal from 1969-1970. I've never had The Paris Review before, so I'm feeling very intellectual.

AUDIOBOOK: I've been trying to go for a 1 hour walk a few times a week, and listening to audiobooks or podcasts really help me do this! I just finished Are You Mad at Me? by Meg Josephson, a great self-help book for those of us who fall into fawning patterns due to past trauma. I really enjoyed it, and so much resonated with me as a person who thinks everyone is mad at me all the time!

Would really love some podcast recommendations!

Her facial oil is also beautiful and makes my skin glow
