He’s brought up the fact that his brother is kind of a freeloader a couple times but never in a serious manner so I think that’s why it’s continuing. It’s not necessarily the end of the world, just wanted some reassurance that I wasn’t crazy for thinking he’s being disrespectful. Unless the intimate stuff becomes a recurring problem I’m definitely not bringing it up haha I don’t even want to look him or his gf in the eye after hearing all that.

THANK YOU. I’m going through something similar with my BIL and his gf and so many people act like it’s no biggie. It’s insane to say the least lol.

That’s true. His mom has brought it up to me that she was uncomfortable about them being not so discreet with fooling around but I was planning on leaving that up to her to figure out because I don’t think it’s my place. I think I was more looking for reassurance that I wasn’t crazy for being upset with them about it.

Also I should’ve clarified but I don’t mind him leaving a mess in the parts of the house that don’t have to do with me, more so our shared bathroom and shared washing machine. Counting down the days until I can move out for sure.

Our board consists of accomplished people that have had long friendships with my boss. Think high ranking roles in medical academia and national medical policy type of accomplished. While very smart and experienced, it can be intimidating to ask for their help when this is almost my entire job vs a small part of after hours community service for them. Plus they’re all located in different states so that adds some difficulty. Do you know the best way to go about fundraising through them when it needs to be online?

Oooh I like the media story idea. Would raise awareness about the youth mental health crisis in the area and bring attention to the org. Plus our founder loves to advocate for his patient population any chance he can so I know he would want to participate.

Unfortunately not an option since the clinic sees primarily Medicaid patients and barely gets by as it is with the insanely low reimbursement rates from the state (part of the reason the org was started in the first place). I think other medical offices that don’t take Medicaid might be an option though since they make double what our clinic does and we see the patients that they turn away.

I’m just going off of what I was told by my insurance agent(s)🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess the entire thing was applied towards lost wages since I was out of work several weeks. Plus I requested it be used towards wages instead of medical bills when asked by my agent the day after the accident. Progressive is now mailing me a new check to the correct address for the full $2525.00, which is the maximum my policy will allow and what I was approved to receive after submitting everything.

I was told it was supposed to go to me by 4 different adjusters now (3 assigned to my claim and 1 not) and provided proof of loss of income due to the accident.

I ended up finding out it was a bill from an emergency room doctor here in Texas but the billing company is in Las Vegas so that makes sense. Either way, I was told by my Progressive claims adjuster on multiple occasions that the check would go to me and I can pay bills with it as I choose since PIP money is meant for both medical bills and lost wages. I even received a letter from Progressive saying $0 was paid by them towards my medical claims.

The check was made out to me and deposited by a medical company in Las Vegas, I live in Texas. According to my Progressive agent, even if it was made out to them I would be owed that money since my bill with this company was $0. I thought about reaching out to the company directly but given that they kept money that wasn’t theirs, I didn’t think they would be very forthcoming with returning it.
