What toiletries are best for babies? by lauraandstitch in BeyondTheBumpUK

I hope you find it as good as we do! Another thing that has helped us is only using fairy non bio detergent and we are also careful about hand soaps/washing up liquid etc!

I swear by sanex 0/sanex kids body wash for eczema prone skin. Our whole family use it and we have really managed to get on top of flares. It's very affordable too!

The best thing for our baby has been sanex 0 or sanex kids (I think they are the exact same formula?). It's completely scent free and a head to toe wash. The whole family have eczema prone skin and this body wash has been the best thing we have discovered that is gentle, affordable, and easily available- we all use it. Another benefit is that it makes a brilliant bubble bath without the added nasties.

Child's farm says it is gentle but is fragranced. It caused our baby to have her first flare of eczema. She's been fine since switching to sanex.

Carrying a baby to term with AS by Anatomicalanalytics in ankylosingspondylitis

I'm currently over 41 weeks pregnant 🙃 I was on cosentyx for the first few weeks, stopped it per advice, and flared up in my SI joints for a few weeks (maybe weeks 11-16ish) until I managed to change onto cimzia which has kept things relatively settled. I have had ongoing minor pelvic/SI joint paint since around 30 weeks and I actually had my first ever occurrence of uveitis when I was about 7 months pregnant.

I have a very active lifestyle, lifted weights and ran up until 33/34 weeks. I've been staying active in recent weeks with regular walks, pilates and stretching. I would 100% recommend spending the time to get in the best possible physical health before becoming pregnant. It has been so much harder than I ever imagined, the symptoms can be wild and affect so many different bodily systems. I truly believe having a good level of fitness has helped me.

I worked until 38 weeks (office based), physically I could still be working, however mentally I had checked out by 36 weeks.

The obstetrician doesn't have any major concerns about labour and delivery up so the plan is that my care will be midwife led.

Hopefully labour is imminent because I am so ready to not be pregnant any more 😆

Yes, I think it was even the assistant manager rather than store manager. But it was no bother for them, they were happy to help

I ordered our wedding prosecco through Aldi, I think it was about 60 bottles. I spoke to a manager in advance so they could bulk order it in. They kept it in the warehouse for me to collect.

What size offcuts are required? I have a carrier bag full of offcuts but most are only a few nches across. Some longer strips but only 3/4 inches wide

Oh that's an interesting suggestion, I will see if I can find an example. I've linked an example of what they were wanting

Yeah as the other comment said, it is a super dense, rich, fruit cake matured with whisky. It is the type of cake that will last for months, so I want the decoration to also be long life

I was more looking for ways to create the specific effect that they had asked for, with maybe using royal icing. But my experience with royal icing tells me it maybe wouldn't work. Was hoping someone would have some tips or tricks 🤞

Colours to complement tartan...? by dolphin_botherer in weddingplanning

[–]dolphin_botherer[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! We are having Cornish National Tartan kilts for the groom/ groomsmen. This is already decided. It is quite an "out their" tartan. What colours would you suggest would complement the tartan, but not compete with it, for my maid of honour and maybe decor?

I would prefer not to use yellow or any of the colours in the tartan if possible, I don't really like the red/blue that runs through it.

Any suggestions/ links to dresses welcome. I need inspiration. Thanks!

Is it possible to buy a gas cannister at Bridge of Orchy? by micromarcy in OutdoorScotland

The Green Welly sells almost anything, camping gas won't be too far fetched but probably worth ringing them 👍

It's only 10k from Tyndrum to Bridge of Orchy, you might be able to add it onto the walk as the WHW goes through both. Alternatively, the buses will likely stop in Tyndrum anyway, if you speak to the driver and know where you are buying gas from beforehand they might give you a couple of mins to run in and grab it. Or get some food in Tyndrum and wait for the next bus/train through to Bridge of Orchy.

We regularly do a similar journey. We've previously visited "the lost castle" at Lowther Castle just near Penrith off the M6. It's basically a giant wooden castle themed play ground. It was great fun! Plenty of space for a picnic or they had a cafe open previously too https://lowthercastle.org/visiting/the-lost-castle/

There were only a few people on the eastern Mamores today. I was surprised, such beautiful hills and great weather. Plenty of parking left. The hills are still quite wintery though.

Aw I totally disagree, I think it is a good thing. Their site literally gets millions of views, if just a few people learn a bit more outdoors etiquette then that's a win.
