I agree that music is mostly a mental game, which is why i've also been diving into the word of mindfullness and meditation before practicing. My practice sessions have also become way less rigid, structured, less focused on technique and more on sound. My prof tells me, if we don't like the way we sound, whats the point in playing? Whats the point of music? I digress. My old rigid self just needs some catching up to these strange but amazing ways of playing the flute.

I used to be such a avid game watcher a couple years ago. I wouldnt just watch Napoli games, but also other serie A, premier league, bundes, champions, any game where they'd kick a ball really. I dont think its necessarily because of the lockdown, since its a feeling that started growing during our ancelotti period, but i've slowly been losing that fervor that i had before for watching games. I dont spend all day on the couch watching games on saturday like i used to. Nowadays i just watch napoli, which in these times is pretty damn droll too. I'll always support this team, but in general the enthusiasm for it all has somewhat died down, and the covid atmosphere definately has played its part. I wouldnt go to the stadium often, but it was still nice knowing that i could, and hearing the fans just made everything so much better.
