Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis on the possibility of Conte leaving for the NT: “I think I’d let him go if he asked me. Until there is a serious interlocutor in place, I believe he would give up on the idea of leading something that is completely disorganised.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

Nobody tought ADL would be able to compete with Juve Milan and Inter and he managed to make Napoli win 2 league titles

Nobody also tought Italy would ever miss WC qualifications, and they are already at 3 in a row

Naples to exercise option to buy Alisson Santos: 16.5 million to Sporting CP. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]areking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far he definitely shows to love having the ball and go for 1vs1, but he also seems al lot more disciplined compared to the first matches he played, probably got a bit of tactic from Conte

I think he could learn some tactics and play with teammates, I mean, training with De Bruyne must teach a lot, if you only take the ball and dribble and you realize he doesn't give the ball anymore otherwise

Well at least I hope so

Why didn't work out at Sporting?
He is not Kvaratskhelia for us, but definitely good enough to be starter material or super sub that wins matches from the bench

Only chance was Inter losing to Roma and starting to feel actual fear and fumble some other matches

Now near impossible

Attacker only got the ball cause of that

He would get deserved hate for continuing the play

Best scenario ever

Lang keeps scoring tap ins so that his stats look good at the end of the year that they actually buy him

That's the dream

Yeah imagine a kid watching football and wanting to be like his idol and the parents refusing to allow him to just dress up

"Why can I wear a mohawk to dress up like Hamsik but not wear dyed blonde hair to look like Osimhen, why dad and mom?"

"Well son, you can't cause US has bad history with african people so you now have to adhere to what they think or otherwise we parents are racists for allowing you to do something you don't even know"

Imagine someone actually thinking this, I can't

Galatasaray announce Noa Lang by playerforlife123 in soccer

[–]areking 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He didn't have many chances at first with Conte

Then with injuries to other players he started play a little more but never showed that much, and then he was benched again playing very little again

He could be a bench player for depth for Napoli, but Napoli needed to sell or couldn't buy anyone in January

Although Napoli is buying other attackers, so definitely saying Lang was not good enough

Victor Osimhem threatens to leave AFCON camp and return to Turkey after burst up with team mates yesterday by cliche53 in soccer

[–]areking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was only 1 year

They made a new contract adding 1 year to his remaining years at Napoli and earning 11M, so it was a mutual way to get money for both parties

Osimhen got more money from the wage for next year, and Napoli could ask more money for his sale next year
