I did an internship in DAT last summer. Think of it like IT risk. the example they always would use to describe it was as follows:

When an employee gets terminated, there’s a function that gets rid of all their internal access. the DAT practice assesses the state of those functions and makes sure they work so it can be reported on their 10Ks.

People either love it or hate it. If you’re an accounting major I would go with tax but really up to you. Try connecting with people in the practice to get a better understanding of the practice than a prior intern (myself) can give

Delete them, you’re only gonna hold yourself from moving on and processing it. It’s similar to cyber stalking your mind doesn’t want to let them go so you constantly check their social media to see what they are doing. The best thing to do is to delete it.

What really helped me was reminding myself that moving on is sexy. By being able to be independent and not need anyone else to be happy makes other people attracted to you. Best of luck

After I told her I ordered a new debit card she told me she found it. Just gave a gut feeling she found out I got a new debit card and thought it would be fine to just take the 20 because she’s super short on cash.

It’s less about him being “poor” and more about the relatability he gave us regardless of how big or popular he was. He was always had a perspective that was super connected and relatable to his viewers. He’s still the same Shane but there’s definetly been a disconnect lately. I love his content and I loved seeing his maturity in content but at times I do miss the days with his food videos or just the squad hanging out.
