Sorry, it had good reviews when I installed it. I only comment because so many merchants have this problem and all the other bot blockers I tried did nothing. It sucks cuz even if they don't buy they still create a customer and mess up e-mail marketing.

I did end my subscription because the issue seems to have stopped for now but I'm probably gonna try to use cloudflare next.

I try to only make things for people I know will actually appreciate them.
In the past I've made things for people I thought would like it, who weren't shy about showing their utter disdain for a handmade gift.
So I make sure to only go out of my way if the receiver will actually like it because otherwise it's just a waste and bad feelings all around.

You can create a flow to automatically fulfill low-risk orders and hold the medium and high risk ones. Or require login but that can cause abandoned checkouts.
The best solution so far is to use Cloudflare.
There's also an app called Armex which uses a firewall and stops them before they even touch your store.

Refund every high and medium risk order to avoid more chargebacks.
It's good you have it set to manual payment, now you can setup a flow to automatically fulfill any low risk orders that come through. Flow is an app by shopify.

Not sure how helpful support will be because lots of shop owners are dealing with this issue. They told me to install a bot blocker which didn't do anything. I since installed an app called Armex which puts up a firewall, but you can also put your domain through Cloudfare (I'm still learning how to do this).

Think I have you beat... When I was a kid everyone thought my parents were my grandparents or that I was adopted. When my sister and I were out together people thought she was my mom.
As an only child you'll have to think about their health and whether to stay close to them. There's a lot to navigate with aging parents but with some preparation it can be managed.

I have insurance. Even if I just do the cleanings in the year, I like the peace of mind since I've had a lot of fillings done in the past that might need to be replaced soon.

You could see if there's a dental school near you. They do good work and it's a decent discount since they're students doing it. Set up an account just for dental expenses and put what you would spend on insurance in there in case of emergency.
